When you sign a player selected in the Entry draft, post here the contract as in the following example:

Ingersoll Beavers sign:
Steven Stamkos
1st round-> 1st year $ 1.5M, 4yrs

AND submit his contract into the database right away.

to determine the salary use this chart :

Draftees rookie contracts
1st rounders
1st year: $1.5/ 2nd year: $1.5 / 3rd year: $2 / 4th year: $3
2nd rounders
$1.2 / $1.2 / $1.7 / $2.8
3rd rounders
$1 / $1 / $1.5 / $2.5
4th rounders
$0.8 / $0.8 / $1.3 / $2.5

Reminders:
-players must be under contract to be called up to the main roster
-entry draftees not signed after their 10th NHL RS game will be lost as soon as they play their 11th game, so remember to keep the needed room under the cap to sign them.
