non esiste
Playing elsewhere is one of Lynch's options for 2008
There is a chance veteran safety John Lynch doesn't retire, yet doesn't play with the Broncos in 2008.
The Broncos have offered Lynch a revised contract for the upcoming season. Lynch has three options: return to Denver, retire or decline the new contract and sign elsewhere.
Lynch has one season left on his contract at $3 million. The Broncos are offering a reduced deal. The two sides are continuing to negotiate and the talks remain amicable.
Lynch, 36, is highly regarded at Dove Valley, and the Broncos want him back.
The situation likely will be resolved by March 4, when Lynch is due a roster bonus. Regardless of whether Lynch returns or not, the safety is expected to be a priority position for Denver in free agency.

non è possibile: uno dei punti fermi della squadra ci si ritrova a firmarlo agli ultmi istanti del tempo utile.

va beh, Jason, però anche tu potevi tornare a casa un po' prima dall'Iraq
Elam's return still on hold
All potential free agents consider 10 p.m. MST Thursday to be a hard deadline for negotiations with their current teams. It's an especially firm threshold for the Broncos and kicker Jason Elam.
If Elam isn't re-signed by Friday, he will put his career on hold as he continues his travels abroad.
Having just returned from Iraq, Elam is leaving this weekend for Israel, where he will be part of a Holy Land group that will also include Broncos center Tom Nalen, and former linemen Matt Lepsis and Dan Neil.

mi ero perso anche questa, Ekuban e Sapp in partenza.
Barring a last- minute change, the agent for Ebenezer Ekuban said the veteran defensive end will enter free agency on Friday.
"We're going to test free agency and see what happens," agent Drew Rosenhaus said. "We'll stay in touch with the Broncos."
It appears fullback Cecil Sapp also is headed for free agency. Several teams, including Kansas City and Miami, are interested in Sapp. The Broncos are headed toward giving safety Hamza Abdullah a restricted free-agency tender, with talks of a long-term deal subsiding.

Broncos hire Fisch as WR coach
The Denver Broncos on Wednesday made official the hiring of Jedd Fisch as wide receivers coach, grabbing him from the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Mike Shanahan said.
Fisch, the Ravens quarterbacks coach last season, has seven years experience in the NFL, including time with the Ravens (2004-07) and the Houston Texans (2001-03).
Fisch is also a graduate of the University of Florida, where he was a graduate assistant on the Gators' Southeastern Conference title-winning team in 2000.

Pare siate in corsa per Lance Briggs.
Citing a source, the Chicago Sun Times says free agent Lance Briggs has been linked to the Bucs, Browns, and Broncos.
Denver is called the "dark horse" to land Briggs, who's generated minimal interest within the first two hours of free agency. The 49ers are expected to be out of the running after signing Dontarrious Thomas early Friday.

Broncos sign Engelberger to extension
The Broncos signed defensive end John Engelberger to a two-year contract extension tonight, his agent Bob Lattinville said.
Terms were not disclosed. The Broncos now have six unrestricted free agents remaining, led by
kicker Jason Elam.
Engelberger has been with Denver for the past three years and started much of last season. Engelberger became a free agent when his contract voided because of play time in 2007.
trade a tre? Domenico non è molto contento
Domonique Foxworth said he was prepared Thursday morning to be traded to Detroit.
He had heard rumors and was prepping himself. Later in the day, he was told that he shouldn't worry about a deal, and that trade talks were initiated by other teams, not by the Broncos. However, Foxworth said he still is bracing himself for a move.
"I've heard all the talk," Foxworth said. "I don't know what to believe. It's kind of strange that my name is popping up in talks and they aren't true. The Broncos have been good to me, and whatever happens, happens. It would be kind of sad to go, but I'm prepared for everything."
One proposed deal would have sent Foxworth to Detroit, part of a three-way trade involving defensive tackle Shaun Rogers of the Lions and Dewayne Robertson of the Jets, but the Broncos never seriously pursued the deal. The Broncos don't want to spend big money for a defensive tackle, a position of need. Carolina also is making defensive tackle Kris Jenkins available.
Foxworth is likely to be popular in the coming weeks. Denver has given him a third-round tender as a restricted free agent. If he were to be offered a deal and Denver doesn't match it, the Broncos would get a third-round pick for him.
Lorenzo mi pare un buon giocatore
With fullback Cecil Sapp hitting free agency, Denver could show interest in Lorenzo Neal, who was just cut by San Diego. . . . Miami signed former Denver receiver David Kircus.
