The Knicks are close to signing Raymond Felton to a multi-year deal, according to sources that spoke with Yahoo's Marc J. Spears.

RealGM Note: Felton is an unrestricted free agent after he was unable to agree to a long-term deal with Charlotte last summer.

Felton was the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft.

Ecco una bella presa,con D'Antoni può diventare un grande play,con un asse Felton-Stoudemire,con Gallo,qualche altro giocatore che arriverà a puntellare il roster secondo me non si è lontanissimi dai playoff,e magari se tutto gira per il verso giusto passare un turno...

Lebron non è arrivato e neanche le altre stelle della free agency su cui si era fantasticato,per questo usciamo come sconfitti da questa free agency,ma finalmente si intravede la luce in fondo al tunnel,bisogna aver pazienza(e si sa che è merce rara nella Grande Mela) ma nonostante l'ovvio pessimismo post scelta di Lebron l'anno prossimo saremo una squadra nettamente migliore rispetto alle ultime edizioni e abbiamo una squadra su cui sperare in ogni caso...

Carmelo Anthony has been expected to sign an extension with the Nuggets and a source told the Denver Post on Thursday that those plans haven't changed.

Amar'e Stoudemire, who officially become a member of the Knicks on Thursday, has tried publicly courting Anthony already.

Anthony can become a free agent after the 2010-11 season if he opts against signing an extension.

"I've talked to Carmelo Anthony, that he needs to come out here," Stoudemire told the New York Daily News. "I've talked to Tony Parker. Both guys are ready to join me if I decide to come here. So we will see if we can work it out."

da altre parti-topic rumors - viene giudicato buono il contratto se non è superiore ai 9 milioni
del resto Felton è l'unico play disponibile, non viene via gratis.

Tutta la riflessività accumulata da Felton sotto la guida di Brown scemerà in un attimo sotto la conduzione tecnica di D'Antoni. :D

Sarà come minimo il doppio. Io gli darei anche un sacco di soldi ma gli farei firmare al massimo per due anni così da poter tenere una porta aperta per Paul.

Felton sarebbe davvero ottimo. Classio giocatore poco cagato perchè finito in una squadra dal poco appeal...

Che senso ha strapagare un play che nel giro di 1 anno farà da riserva (per Paul) o da chioccia (Per Rubio). Con un ragionamento  come il tuo si arriva in 1 anno alla gestione di Thomas.
Buona presa perchè Felton ha abbastanza esperienza e un giro ai PO se lo pè fatto sotto la quida di coach Brown. Sotto sotto spero che lo spot di play titolare sia dato a CP3 nel giro di un anno
