Intanto Myers lancerà l'opening, oltre a voler motivare e addolcire il pesante carattere del giocatore (che continua a dire di preferire il ruolo di chiusore) ho letto questo interessante spunto su beerleague:

Myers regge 5 IP prima di crollare ma da subito si capisce che non va le palle rimangono tutte altissime nell'area di strike e non sono fastball infuocate piene di vita ma solamente palle alte, vengono colpite più volte e mandate vicino al muro. Poi manca di controllo concede valide su conteggi 0-2 colpisce avversari e prepara il frittatone finale. Entra Madson e sono altri 2 punti (HR) anno nuovo problemi vecchi. Bene Durbin ottimo Romero e ottimo il solito attacco, la partita è sul 6 pari con Tom Gordon sul monte siamo nella parte alta del 9.
Qui mi fermo lascio parlare il tabellino postato e chiedo nella speranza che qualche esperto dei numeri legga questo post cosa è successo a Gordon (parliamo di 2007) problemi fisici o calo fisico permanente. La domanda è potrà ancora fare qualcosa o per lui si è spento l'interruttore?
Intanto arriva Rudy Seanez che non mi sembra il salvatore e mi trovo a sperare che i Mets perdano un SP anche se per Pedro mi dispiacerebbe tantissimo.

E' dal 2003 che sta calando progressivamente e sempre più nettamente. Il 2006 è stato ancora decente, ma era il terzo anno di fila che tutte le sue statistiche peggioravano. Per me è un rilievo mediocre e praticamente finito. Sempre più BB, sempre più XBH... male, molto male.

Intanto l'altro ieri con un Hamles spettacoloso riusciamo a battere UNA valida e perdere 1 a 0.
Complimenti a Wash, bella partita comunque tante linee prese o colpi di fortuna tengono Phila a secco e questo mi fa ben sperare perchè alla fine si dovrebbe normalizzare un po' tutto, o almeno spero!
