Acusate se mi introduco nel topik.... volevo notizie di Devin Thomas .,... giocherà l'anno prossimo o è stata una pessima scelta nel draft scorso (per voi e per il mio Fantafootball)?????

Qui ci sono delle spiegazioni abbastanza dettagliate su come lo spazio salariale sia stato creato.
I tagli di Springs e Washington hanno creato 10,5 milioni, Randle-El, Carter, ed un altro paio di giocatori hanno ristrutturato i precedenti (ed esosi) contratti, il colpo finale è stato lo smaltimento del contratto di Philip Daniels, fuori per tutta la stagione scorsa.
Si è comunque giocato molto sull'abbassamento dei base salaries, e l'innalzamento dei bonus. Come sempre.

Thomas dovrebbe svilupparsi meglio di Kelly, che comincia a prendere le sembianze del bust (tra l'altro quel ginocchio non è andato a posto).
Le prospettive per lui sono buone, ha toppato il primo anno, ma non è detto che sia completamente dipeso da lui.

Si va boh, ora non veniamo però a far passare Haynesworth che è andato ai Redskins perchè era il sogno della sua vita, e ci ha rimesso dei soldi. Io i Redskins lo hanno ricoperto di soldi, altrimenti non vedo perchè Albert non sarebbe dovuto rimanere ai Titans ed accettare il comunque consistente rinnovo che gli era stato proposto.

Ma non è una cosa di soldi, se senti la presentazione lui ha accettato perchè il papà è tifosissimo degli Skins come tutta la sua famiglia ed in più è una squadra con grande tradizione, i soldi sono stati la seconda scelta. :lol2:

Jason La Canfora, of The Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with free-agent DL Renaldo Wynn (Giants), according to a league source. He agreed to a one-year contract, but financial terms were not disclosed.

Report: Redskins “Among The Leading Candidates” To Get Cutler
Yahoo! Sports published on Tuesday night a list of six teams interested in Denver quarterback Jay Cutler, whom the Broncos will trade.
The list didn’t include the Redskins.
But it now should.
According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Redskins are one of the leading candidates to land Cutler.
The move isn’t surprising to us; we’ve heard chatter for several weeks that the Redskins are interested. Last month, executive V.P. of football operations Vinny Cerrato issued a carefully-worded non-denial denial of interest in Cutler.
Another key angle at play here is the status of former Denver coach Mike Shanahan. The Redskins could be eyeballing a one-two punch that would involve getting Cutler now, and then getting Shanahan in 2010.
And maybe, as our pal Todd Wright of Sporting News Radio pointed out during our Tuesday night visit with him, the ‘Skins would pull off an April/May coaching change, swapping out Jim Zorn for Shanahan.
Of course, such a move would make it difficult to comply with the Rooney Rule, since anyone with any sense would realize that Shanahan is the target, if Zorn were to be fired so late in the offseason. Barring an Art Shell-style sham interview, the Redskins would have to factor a hefty fine into the budget for buying out Zorn and acquiring Shanahan.

Potrei crederci dal punto di vista dell'allenatore, perchè Zorno non mi sembra possa restare più di un altro anno in caso di insuccesso, ci creod meno dal punto di vista di Jason Campbell, che deve ancora crescere, per il quale abbiamo tradato in alto per prenderlo a fine primo giro, e contando che per Cutler Denver vorrà includere la nostra numero 13, il che significa non scegliere il defensive end di cui abbiamo fortemente bisogno.
Per il resto, Shanahan sarebbe il benvenuto.
