ND soffre contro Navy che senza Hamilton ha in campo un QB dal nome impronunciabile, tal Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada, hawaiiano.

I marinai hanno portato avanti due buoni drive offensivi ma come dice la loro storia è quasi tutta corsa. Vero che cambiano spesso il portatore, ma la difesa degli Irish fatica davvero troppo a prevenire queste corse. Non mi aspettavo una marina così solida. 17-14 a meno di tre minuti dalla fine del 2° quarto. Navy al lancio è 2/2. :pollicesu:

Fortuna che la difesa dei Midshipmen è praticamente nulla e non può davvero inventarsi niente contro Quinn e compagni. Meta di nuovo per gli Irish con gran palla di Quinn per McKnight con copertura ridicola del cornerback. Direi che mantenendo questo scarto all'intervallo ND non avrebbe più problemi a gestire la gara.

Con la caduta di USC, quella di Clemson e la stentata vittoria di Auburn gli Irish rientreranno nei top 10.

Sconfitta North Carolina 45-26.

Ora il record e' 8-1.

Brady Quinn 23-35 346yds 4TD.
Darius Walker con 86yds sulle corse ed un TD.
Aldridge con 45yds in 8 portate.
Jeff con 177yds in 6 ricezioni ed un TD!
John Carlson 91-8 1TD.
Rhema McKnight 6-56 2TD.
Zbikowski con un punt return in TD.

Concesso un TD pass da 72yds ed un TD su kickoff return da 90yd!

e sabato c'e' la trasferta in casa di Air Force (4-4).
Poi ci sara' Army e poi la trasferta ad USC.

Con la sconfitta di Tennessee gli Irish dovrebbero rientrare nelle top 10.

Undicesimi nel BCS e mandati allo Sugar Bowl... qualcosa mi sfugge, essendo indipendente non dovrebbe finire tra le prime 8 (o 10) per finire a uno dei Bowls storici?

Notre Dame will now receive an automatic BCS bid if they place in the top 8 in the BCS poll. The Irish will be considered for a bid if they finish in the top 12.

Ovvio che c'e' l'aspetto business.
