The point is, NY has a shitload of prospects, so they have to keep the room to sign them in case they''ll play more than 10 games. If they'll sign Mason too, they'll end up with 30millions committed for the goalies, and their team is still largely incomplete. Honestly, their strategy is weird to say the least. I have the feeling they got stuck with some of their asshole re-bids...just my .2
