Amar’e Stoudemire said he can’t worry about whether the Knicks add point guard Baron Davis to the roster with hopes he heals and provides a February spark.

Davis was an amnesty cut Wednesday night and if under-the-cap teams don’t bid on him because of his disk injury, the Knicks could sign him to the $1.4 million veteran’s minimum. Davis could clear today at 5 p.m.

Agent Todd Ramasar says Davis could need to rehab his disk for two months, though there is speculation he is scaring off suitors so he can choose between the Knicks or Lakers. The Knicks believe in their medical staff — headed by Dr. Lisa Callahan — and are willing to take the chance they can nurse him to health. It is a low-risk, high-reward move for a franchise looking to compete for the title this season.

“The guy’s out eight-to-10 weeks,’’ Stoudemire said of the two-time All-Star. “It’s not our concern at all. We can’t do anything about his injury right now. We have positive things going. We feel great about our guys and have to keep it going.’’
