Stavo seguendo un attimo la storia di Overeem, una sorta di cronistoria:

- A test was ordered for Overeem on November 17.
- However, there were apparently some issues, which Kizer will now detail.
- As the rumor went, Overeem was in his native Holland to visit his mother and could not get his test done.
- However, Kizer understands that Overeem was in California on 11/17 and then took off that night. Did test on 11/23 but not properly. Essentially, the test Overeem took in Holland came back normal, but it wasn't the right test.
- Kizer believes Overeem took a test on 12/7. Waiting on results. However, NSAC isn't even 100 percent certain a test was taken.
- Overeem blames delay on his mother's illness, as well as the different testing procedure from the NSAC.

Non si sa quale sia il verdetto, ma la storia in parole povere dovrebbe essere questa.

Gli hanno concesso la licenza, il match si farà.

After hearing him out, the commission ruled that the Strikeforce heavyweight champion will be allowed to compete in the main event of UFC 141 ... albeit "conditionally."

And here are those conditions:

* Overeem must take a new steroid test at an independent lab within 72 hours
* Overeem must take another test once he arrives on United States soil before his fight with Lesnar
* Overeem must take further tests for the next six months to a year at his own expense

Beh oddio....deve fare un test fra 72 ore, un altro test prima del match con Lesnar e poi eventualmente uno fra 6 mesi/un anno. Che si faccia il match, per me, è tutt'altro che scontato.

Vitor Belfort e Wanderlei Silva saranno i due allenatori della prossima edizione di "The Ultimate Fighter", che sarà girata in Brasile. Come di consueto poi, i due si sfideranno nell'ottagono subito dopo la fine dello show.

A quanto ho capito, questa sarà una edizione "international" di The Ultimate Fighter, pensata esclusivamente per il mercato brasiliano. Infatti, per ora ho letto che andrà in onda solo in Brasile. E' probabile che partano in contemporanea a Marzo 2012. Speriamo di poter "ricavare" le puntate in qualche modo.

Edit: a quanto pare andrà in onda su Fuel, un canale minore della FOX. Mentre per l'Ultimate Fighter "classico", le puntate andranno su FX.

lo schedule dei controlli imposti a overeem è uno specchietto per le allodole.
l'unico modo per tenerlo realmente sotto controllo sarebbero i controlli a sorpresa, con l'obbligo di reperibilità, come avviene nel ciclismo.
nel modo in cui gli sono stati imposti invece, saprà sempre con netto anticipo quando deve sottoporsi ai controlli antidoping.

match sicuramente interessante. werdum era andato via in sordina, ma in strikeforce ha ritrovato una gran popolarità battendo il russo, contro ogni pronostico.
è un fighter molto esperto e completo, anche se non ha il talento atletico dei migliori.
nelson è molto anomalo, ma del resto la categoria dei massimi consente anche di avere delle situazioni particolari di quel genere, ed è la più affascinante anche per questo motivo oltre a presentare sul ring gli atleti spesso mai più forti pound per pound, ma sicuramente più forti in senso assoluto.
