Dai, ma lasciali stare. La situazione a Cleveland al momento non è delle migliori e tu hai un topic tutto nuovo con nuovi compagni di merenda. Non essere cattivo sù. 

Sarei ovviamente felice se LeBron riuscisse a realizzare il suo sogno ai Miami Heat e quindi uno sguardo al loro topic lo darò ben volentieri, visto anche che alcuni dei 'nuovi compagni di merenda' sono sempre molto informati ma, può sembrare banale (e per qualcuno paradossale), i Cleveland Cavaliers restano nel cuore. Con quei link quindi non volevo essere affatto cattivo, anzi, sono stato molto male per la decisione del nostro ex Re, ben sapendo che se ne sarebbe andato e che qualsiasi destinazione non mi sarebbe piaciuta. Volevo semplicemente dire che non condivido in pieno le parole di Gilbert, tutto qui. Alcune cose poteva anche risparmiarsele...

Bellissima la lettera di Dan Gilbert, anche se non poteva fare altro che cercare di rincuorare uno Stato intero e smerdare James.

Former Cavs star LeBron James criticized team owner Dan Gilbert’s emotional letter to fans in an interview with Rachel Nichols airing on ESPN’s ”Sunday Conversation.”

Portions of the interview were shown during the network’s Sunday morning ”SportsCenter.” James announced Thursday night during a one-hour ESPN special that he was jumping to the Miami Heat after seven years in Cleveland.

”I think it’s unfortunate that he did that,” James said of Gilbert’s response. ”I understand that the fans are hurt and I wish it could have been a different way. But Dan and whoever his partners are have to look themselves in the mirror and understand what he may have done may have cost them in the long run.”

When Nichols commented that Gilbert’s language was extremely strong, James said, ”I’ve heard worse. I’ve been in a single-parent household, I’ve heard worse.”

Asked if he called the Cavs personally on Thursday, James said, ”I didn’t talk to anyone personally because … I got to a point the last day, I heard so much throughout the whole process. The last day I wanted to be about me. I didn’t want to talk to anybody. So when I went to that interview I was comfortable with myself and I wasn’t hearing other people’s voices going on in my decision. I didn’t talk to anybody.”

Ci ha danneggiato sicuramente, almeno a leggere le reazioni di molti giocatori su Twitter. E' anche vero che continuo a pensare una dichiarazione andasse fatta, magari mantenendo un maggior controllo, ma Gilbert doveva dire qualcosa e far sapere ai fan se avesse intenzione di "lasciare o raddoppiare" (cit.), quindi adesso attendiamo di vedere a quale strategia hanno pensato.

Non iniziamo con discorsi del genere. Quanto scritto da Gilbert va preso nel modo giusto, la mia opinione in merito l'ho riportata qualche post fa.

Quella di Lequitter sa tanto di minaccia velata. Sarà un caso ma la maggior parte dei giocatori che si sono schierati dalla sua parte sono clienti della sua agenzia di marketing(LMR).

Intanto pare si sia deciso di non richiedere un' investigazione ufficiale sul tutto. Evidentemente c'è la consapevolezza che per vari motivi non sarebbe servito a niente e quindi è meglio concentrarsi su altre questioni, la S&T era un chiaro segnale di questa intenzione.

Da tifoso Cavs è ovvio che, soprattutto a caldo, ero incazzato più o meno quanto lui nei confronti di LeBron. Di conseguenza è normale ritenere bellissima la lettera quando ha cercato di tirarci un pò. Mi pare poi che anche in quel post avevo detto che non poteva fare altro che smerdarlo... Ho solamente aggiunto che forse con lui ci è andato un pò troppo pesante...

According to a source, Zydrunas Ilgauskas is close to accepting a contract from the Miami Heat. The Cavs had an offer for Z on the table.

The Cavs made it clear to Z that he was always welcome. Of course, earned the right to go anywhere he wants in free agency.

This is more than professional for me, covering Z has been personal. Wonderful human being, truly wish him, Jennifer and two sons the best.
