halladay ancora dominante, 8ip e la partita è in cassaforte! ( forse qualche flyballs di troppo, ma 0 BB a dimostrazione di un gran controllo)
poi al 9' sull'8 a 2 la chiudiamo 8 a 6....ahi ahi Herndon!!!!!!

cmq x fortuna il lineup impallina i pitchers avversari!

stasera tocca a il nonneto! ci sarà da ridere!!!! o piangere!!!!!!

si perde 5 a 1, mettiamo a segno l'unica run con un hr di Jasone al 9' per il resto l'attaco dorme( cg di Nolasco)
Il nonnetto nel primo inninig ne becca 5, poi per altri 5' niente e adirittura fa 7k ( addirittura nel 5' 3k filati )

ancora bene Figueroa

partita dalla svolgimento inimmaginabile prima del suo inizio, non so che dire, potrei criticare Moyer ma poi ha fatto 5' inning buoni in fondo, la verità è che la ns caratteristica è che quando non lancia Doc è sempre il lineup che deve vincere le partite!

mi ripeto e qualcuno potrà dirmi che è presto, ma a metà stagione deve arrivare un aceman ( andrò a vedere chi è prossima alla freeagency) altrimenti non si va da nessuna parte............bastava tenere il generale........

non segnamo nulla! in 2 partite un punto.........ma che caz......non sono i ns ragazzi questi!!!!

con tutto il rispetto Nolasco e Robertson non entreranno nella Hall of fame di questo gioco!!!!

vedere in difesa in 3b Cantù e Polanco c'è una differenza abissale!!!! li concediamo troppe hits!!!!!

il bullpen scricchiola...........

e da questo inverno che scrivo che ci siamo indeboliti e nonostante il record di 8/4 io vedo troppi problemi

stasera però la nota positiva c'è: un Cole Hamels in versione 2008! 8ip 7h r2 0bb 8k 1hr(quando ho un pò di tempo voglio andare a vedere da quante partite consecutive compresa la scorsa stagione mi subisce hr)

in settimana andiamo ad Atlanta, i Marlins a Houston.........

Sempre brutto tornare con i piedi a terra. Non dico che siamo più deboli ma sicuramente non siamo la squadra che uccide la division. Tanti troppi buchi.

Phillies left-hander J.A. Happ might miss his next start Wednesday at Atlanta because of discomfort in his left forearm.

According to Ruben Amaro, J.A. Happ will miss his scheduled Wednesday start against Atlanta. In a press release, Amaro said, “J.A. Happ experienced soreness in his left elbow after his last start. He was seen by Dr. Michael Ciccotti and had an MRI. The MRI revealed a very mild flexor pronator muscle strain. J.A. has been progressing and improving since then, but we will take a conservative approach and skip his next start. He is scheduled for a bullpen session on Thursday.”

The Phillies rotation for their upcoming series in Atlanta is as follows:

Tuesday – RHP Kyle Kendrick

Wednesday – RHP Roy Halladay

Thursday – LHP Jamie Moyer

There were concerns over Happ’s velocity and it looks like this strain is the culprit. In his last start, Happ allowed six walks, but somehow left without giving up an earned run. A candidate to jump in for a spot start should the soreness linger would be Nelson Figueroa. Since joining the team prior to the start of the season, Figgy has done quite well in relief duty.

The news on Happ isn’t good, but it isn’t awful either. If he misses one start, and all he needs is some rest, then the Phils will get off easy here. Let’s hope the velocity is back on Thursday, when he is scheduled for a bullpen session.

Joe Blanton will pitch tomorrow for Class-A Lakewood as he continues to rehab that oblique injury.

c'è da stringere i denti ad Atlanta, oggettivamente partiamo con una possibile seri persa per 2 a 1, ma, se le ns mazze si svegliano, tutto è possibile!!!!! siamo già al primo momento critico della stagione, vediamo come reagiranno i ragazzi!

che botta al morale!

3 a 0 per noi al 9' con 2 out......2hr su Madson e pareggiano, al 10' altro hr su Contreras e vincono!

Bullpen peggio dell'anno scorso!

vanificato il gran lavoro sul monte di Kendrick 8ip 4h 0r 2bb 2 k , supportato con bei double play dalla difesa, ma anche tanta sua sicurezza!

avevamo fatto scendere durante il 5' Hanson dal monte....tutto inutile....

Stasera Doc vs Hudson.....

Classifica x tutta la division cortissima, ripresi dai Braves

The day after Harry died, a Philadelphia Phillies fan started a petition on Facebook seeking support for a statue to be erected in Kalas’ honor and memory. They’re working to raise $80,000 to build the memorial Harry deserves and will present it as a gift to the Phillies once it’s complete. They’re over 25% of the way there.

On Friday April 23rd, a party will be thrown in Harry’s honor at McFadden’s at Citizens Bank Ballpark to raise money for the statue. quando sul monte va Doc non scende più fino alla fine della partita: altro CG! altra W! che il signore ce lo mantenga sano!
visto che la sfortuna continua ad accanirsi contro di noi ( Polanco leaves with bruised left elbow

cmq quest i numeri di Doc: 9ip 5h 0r 1bb 7so 0.82 era 4W su 4partite!
stavolta un pò di aiuto da un'ottima difesa:

- 7' basi piene, double play
-9' due numeri in tuffo di Bubba per 2 out

certo con Doc sul monte si vede la partita sempre in tranquillità!

Complimenti al bullpen dei Braves in entrambe le due partite non ci fa segnare!

stasera si chiude con Moyer vs Lowe, si parte sfavortiti anche perchè useremo senz'altro il bullpen....
che ha perso le ultime 2 partite le volte che è stato coinvolto vanificando le buone prestazioni di Kendrick e Hamels

l'attaco torna a girare e di conseguenza arriva la W, molto bene Moyer sul monte! anzi molto bene i 4 partenti ( Happ put on 15-day DL, Phillies cut young lefty's bullpen session short Thursday ) nelle ultime loro uscite, aiutati anche dalla pochezza del lineup dei Braves. 2 dei 3 punti subiti colpa di errori di Utley, male Bubba al piatto. bene Dobbs in 3b e Castro in SS.

il bullpen dal 7' come sempre non da sicurezza e questo a oggi è la nota dolente insieme agli infortunati ( Romero activated. Lidge hurls scoreless inning at Triple-A, Closer looks good, will pitch Friday at Double-A Reading. Happ's DL stint is retroactive to Friday, which means he could be activated as early as May 1. General manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said he is not certain how long it might take Happ to return, but he estimated it could be closer to weeks than a month. Amaro also said Happ is not scheduled to receive any more tests. Happ had a MRI on Friday. Right-hander Nelson Figueroa will start Saturday against the D-backs at Chase Field. The Phillies do not need a fifth starter again until May 4 against the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park. Righty Joe Blanton, who is recovering from a strained left oblique, needs two more rehab starts before rejoining the rotation. Blanton makes his second rehab start Friday with Double-A Reading. If Blanton makes his third rehab start Wednesday, he could rejoin the rotation May 3.)

cmq quello che mi consola è che tutte le sconfitte sn sempre arrivate per demeriti nostri ( bullpen, dormite del lineup), mai per meriti degli avversari, questo mi fa dire che molto del ns futuro dipenderà da noi, ecco perchè già da ora contiuno a dire che dobbiamo rafforzarci!
