Ieri ha pagato un po' il fatto di essere rimasto fermo probabilmente.

Dietro si è fatto mettere le mani addosso da West, che non è proprio sto atletone e il suo piazzato non sembrava troppo fluido. Ritengo sia solo un po' di ruggine.

Penso che purtroppo non ho ancora visto la partita ma tra poco recupero.  :lol2:

Comunque è chiaro che stare fermo un mese ,anche per un giocatore che gioca soprattutto di testa, non è una cosa semplice. Ci vorrà un pò di tempo prima che ritrovi il ritmo partita.

Ma l' importanza che ricopre BIG Z va al di la di quello che potrà dare in campo(non poco secondo me).

Nella notte sconfitta contro gli Spurs, non ho ancora visto la partita ma purtroppo c'è da segnaglare che Andy sul finire del secondo quarto ha accusato un problema muscolare alla gamba sinistra e non è più rientrato in campo. Speriamo non sia nulla di grave

- The Bucks claimed F Darnell Jackson off waivers on Thursday. They assumed his contract for 2010-11 worth $854,389. He was waived by the Cavs on Tuesday. He won't be eligible to be on the Bucks' playoff roster.

- "(G Delonte West is) really a starter. When you have a starter coming off the bench, it makes it a good, deep ball club. It's fun to be a part of, especially with the way those guys have accepted their roles."

The Cavs are planning on slightly changing their team colors and also revamping their standard home and road uniforms for next season. The idea has been in the works for about two years, the amount of time the team must give the league before making a uniform adjustment, but the designs are not finalized.

It will not be a major change, team sources said, like seven years ago when the team brought back its current "new expression of wine and gold" and a new logo featuring crossing swords. The team's logos will stay basically the same, but there's going to be a brighter yellow featured.

Also, the front of the uniforms are expected to undergo a design change with a different presentation of the word "Cavaliers" on the home white and alternate blue uniforms and a different style of "Cleveland" on the wine road jerseys.

Currently, the Cavs use a pale shade of gold. That is one of the reasons why the gold has been less emphasized in recent years. There is virtually no gold used on the current floor design and very little on the standard uniforms. Blue has emerged as the team's secondary color by default. The new gold color will be more vibrant, closer to the original gold the team used in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Si avevo letto ieri, le maglie attuali mi piacciono spero non facciano danni ma a quanto dicono i cambiamenti dovrebbe essere di poco conto.


Cambiando argomento, nell' ultimo periodo ho evitato di commentare molto le partite perchè ormai l' importanza del risultato è molto relativa cosi come l' intesità con cui ci siamo approcciati ad esse.
Mike Brown sta provando delle rotazioni più corte (non solo a causa degli infortuni) e varie soluzioni tattiche in vista dei PO.

Nella partita contro i Kings Antawn è stato schierato per svariati minuti come SF. Sia con LBJ in panca, con l' ex UNC che lo sostituiva anche nel ruolo di go to guy, sia insieme al re che naturalmante scalava in SG. Quest' ultima soluzione è ancora da rodare soprattutto per quanto riguarda la fase difensiva, ma è molto interessante.

Jamison sta offrendo ottime prestazioni ma il suo inserimento non è tutto rose è fiori. Il rendimento di Mo ultimamente è di nuovo calato e le 2 cose sembrano propio essere correlate.
Il declassare Williams a terza opzione/violino  non è sicuramente un male anzi forse è il ruolo più adatto a lui.
Ultimamente però i giochi chiamati per lui sono veramente troppo pochi, Mo è prevalentemente un tiratore quindi è normale che per produrre decentemente debba essere in ritmo.
Il trovare un perfetto equilibrio nella distrubuzione del gioco sarà di fondamentale importanza in vista dei PO.

Shaq working his way back from thumb injury


INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) -- Cavaliers center Shaquille O'Neal is getting closer to returning from a thumb injury.

O'Neal took part in some of practice Thursday, although coach Mike Brown isn't counting on him being back before the playoffs.

O'Neal has been sidelined since tearing a ligament in his right thumb Feb. 25. He had surgery and was expected to miss the rest of the regular season. On Wednesday, the 14-time All-Star said he was ahead of schedule.

Also, forward Anderson Varejao worked out after missing two games because of a sore left hamstring. He's a game-time decision for Friday's game against Atlanta.

LeBron: 'I Won't Stop' Until I Bring Title To Cleveland

In an interview on NBA TV, LeBron James indicated that he "won't stop" until he reaches his goal of winning a title in Cleveland.

"I got a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's to bring an NBA championship here to Cleveland," James said. "And I won't stop until I get it."

Taken literally, James' statement is newsworthy because it would mean that the Cavs' superstar, who can become a free-agent this summer, would stay in Cleveland at least as long as it takes to bring the city an NBA championship.

James also spoke glowingly about the professionalism and depth of the Cavs' roster.

The Cavs have the best record in the league, five games ahead of the Lakers.

Ancora assente Andy, nell' ultimo periodo Jamison esce per un leggero infortunio.

LBJ(27pt 13rb 6a) mvp della partita. Nella fase iniziale coinvolge i compagni nel finale si prende la squadra sulla spalle .

Molto bene anche MO(24pt e 4 stoppate, massimo in carriera) e JJ(8pt 16rb di cui 7 offensivi, career high) che contiene molto bene Horford.

Bene  Big Z(10rb di cui 6 offensivi),  ottimo in difesa sia sull' uomo sia in aiuto.
