Pre-season Free Agency will start tomorrow morning (CET) at 9.00 o'clock on the new site.

This is the topic where related discussions should be posted.

Please keep in mind some important things:

- if you have problems, questions, doubts upon the new site and its use, you can post them in the proper thread

This topic is for comments that are not related with the working of the new site.

- once less than 12hrs are left before a bidding for an UFA expires, the minimum raise to make a new bid for him goes up to 0.5M.

- you can offer (and then run during the season) how many multiyear contracts you want, but next september (2010) you'll only be able to protect 16 multiyear contracts (entry draft contracts excluded). However, you'll also have to keep on paying till the end of their contracts all your EFAs that won't be offered better contracts in the next september free agencies.

- unfortunately, the rulebook on free agency is not up to date with the introduction of the new site, but the latter will guide you allowing correct operations only.

[glow=yellow,2,300]- unfortunately #2, this year we will still use yahoo, so for this season there are no guarantees the real positions of the players you'll offer for will be the same ones displayed by our new site (it's nhl.com based). Note that the same goes for the players already on your roster.
To be sure about players' real positions you have to check on yahoo![/glow]

- no separation between main roster and farm team, no waivers during FA nor at its end*.
una volta finita la FA, potrete dividere il roster in main e farm senza curarvi del fatto che i giocatori che mettete nel farm siano eleggibili (100 partite già raggiunte) o meno x i waivers; infatti, al contrario di quanto originariamente previsto dal regolamento, x semplificare l'introduzione del nuovo sito nessun giocatore dovrà passare dai waivers al momento della separazione del roster* (che, essendo in offseason, al momento è uno solo, la separazione che appare sul sito è solo virtuale, potete spostare i giocatori tra main e farm a piacimento). I waivers entreranno in vigore solo a separazione avvenuta, si applicheranno cioè solo ai movimenti successivi.
*however, IF AFTER the separation (deadline on september 27th) your main roster will have more players than allowed (25), the exceeding veterans will undergo waivers.

Per comodità riporto dal regolamento la tabella delle compensazioni:

RFA Compensation Brackets
>10M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft + 1st round pick of the following Entry draft.
8.6M -10M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft + 2nd round pick of the following Entry draft.
7.1M-8.5M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft.
5.6M-7.0M : 1st and 3rd round picks of the next Entry draft
3.6M-5.5M : 2nd rounder of the next Entry draft
1.5M-3.5M : 3rd rounder of the next Entry draft
<1.5M : No compensation

sul nuovo sito, basta andare in players e selezionare 'FA'.
L'unica cosa è ke x completare gli UFA disponibili vanno aggiunti anche gli 'Expired', selezionabili allo stesso modo.

al partire delle danze gli expired diventano FA quindi....

Avrò anche un cap alto, ma dimentichi che ci sono squadre con meno giocatori di me e che di sicuro per completare la rosa mi supereranno.

Senza considerare che ho da prendere 3-4 difensori e un pò di roster fillers davanti e sono a posto.
