Le linee non eliminano nessuno... se un hitter batte una linea, ha vinto lui la battaglia col pitcher. Uno strikeout? Vittoria del pitcher. Una groundball? Vittoria del pitcher. Una flyball corta? Ancora per il pitcher. Ma una base su ball o una linea............. se poi la difesa fa l'out, hai avuto fortuna, ma se Dusty non capisce questo...... Magari è convinto che siccome Bailey avesse gli "occhi giusti", la linea sia stata trasformata in out. Magari con gli occhi sbagliati, la linea sarebbe caduta.
