La prima decisione incombente è se esercitare l'opzione su Marte. E' onerosa (6 milioni, ma vado a memoria), ma dato che i soldi non sono un problema è una cosa da fare.
Poi dobbiamo incrociare le dita e sperare che I-Rod sia FA di tipo B, a quel punto si potrebbe parlare col giocatore (una specie di gentlemen agreement) e capire se l'eventuale offerta di arbitrato verrebbe declinata. In quel caso otterremmo una scelta supplementare al prossimo draft.
Parlare del resto è ancora un po' difficile, praticamente tutti i big FA sono nostri possibili obiettivi...
