Il solito meccanismo ridicolo porterà alcuni a votare Morneau se i Twins faranno i PO. In poche parole, se i Tigers battono i White Sox, voteranno lui. Altrimenti (se i White Sox vinceranno il recupero e lo spareggio) voteranno Pedroia. Ma per favore...

A me farebbe piacere se vincesse Pedroia, davvero. Solo che ad essere pienamente sincero, il supporto che sta ricevendo mi sa un po' di Jeterismo (middle infielder di una squadra dal grande mercato). Ed in generale tutto mi ricorda un po' il 2006, in cui l'MVP è palesemente Joe Mauer, ma poi vince Justin Morneau in virtù dei soli RBI (quell'anno Jeter era comunque nettamente più forte di Morneau). Vedremo chi vincerà quest'anno.

Youkilis poi non capisco perchè sia così sottovalutato, praticamente cancellato. Gold Glover, leader AL per SLG (incredibile, vero?), secondo in AL per OPS. Mah.

Comunque io dico Mauer. Idealmente direi Mauer-Pedroia-Youkilis. Alla fine però suppongo che nessuno dei 3 sarebbe un "furto" in senso stretto, ma continuo a non capire la mancanza di supporto per Joe Mauer, eccellente difensivamente da C, batting champion, con una OBP eccellente, un rapporto K/BB terrificante (in senso buono) e vera chiave dell'attacco dei Twins (e motivo per cui Morneau ha tanti RBI).
