Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa

La scelta l'ho fatta in base a queste considerazioni: non essendoci più Griffin disponibile non credo che nessun altro quarterback valga la 6, e semmai decidessimo di prendere Tannehill sicuramente faremmo trade down. Si va quindi di needs, Morris Claiborne sarebbe stato interessante, ma già andato, e credo che Riley Reiff potrebbe fare al caso nostro dato che la nostra linea ha bisogno di un tackle che possa giocare a lungo e dare continuità assieme a Trent Williams.

Secondo me questo da qui al draft può fare una scalata in stile Von Miller, dato che ha tutte le qualità fisiche per dominare anche a livello NFL. E considerando la penosa pass-rush dei Jaguars Upshaw potrebbe essere il fit perfetto tenendo anche conto dei QB che giocano/giocheranno in AFC South...

Per me Bush è finito, nel senso che la stagione dell'anno scorso la vedo dura che la possa ripetere. Con la linea che hanno e magari Peyton come QB, trovarsi un duo di RB come Richardson-Thomas può essere senz'altro interessantissimo. Ormai si vince con un committee, non con un solo RB.

L'alternativa era prendere L'OT Jonathan Martin. Se non dovessimo rifirmare Bell un Takle al primo giro sarebbe la scelta più logica, quindi la mia speranza è quella che rifirmiamo Bell. Scarto invece l'opzione DE visto lo scorso draft prevalentemente difensivo, spero che il need venga riempito via FA .
Tornando a Floyd, per me, può diventare un buon complemento a Stevie Johnson considerando anche il fatto che la quasi totalità degli snep li giochiamo con almeno tre WR in campo ed attualmente a roster ne abbiamo solo due presentabili (l'altro è Nelson che è tutto tranne un WR2).
