Un matchup che ormai è un classico di ottobre, queste squadre ogni anno si ritrovano. La tradizione è favorevole ai Red Sox, che tuttavia quest'anno sembrano più in difficoltà rispetto ai rivali, con più punti di domanda, soprattutto in rotazione. La serie inizierà domani, giovedì 8 ottobre, e di fronte ci saranno Lester per i Sox e Lackey per gli Angels. Difficile fare un pronostico, si potrebbe tranquillamente andare a gara 5, con gli Angels che potranno contare sul fattore campo.
