Non ha l'ardire di essere un report preciso - forse nessuno, nemmeno tra gli addetti ai lavori è in grado di farlo - ma solo un'ipotesi indicativa su quella che è la situazione salariale delle 32 franchigie. Ogni aiuto è ben accetto...spero di avere abbastanza tempo e pazienza per aggiornare. Chiaro che a free agency in corso diventerà impossibile!!!

Per quanto riguarda i Jaguars ho trovato questo:

Fred Taylor's $6 million cap number in 2009 will come right off the books if the Jaguars release him in the offseason.
There is no accelerating signing bonus in his deal. Jacksonville, currently projected to be $14M under the 2009 cap, can bump to $20M with Taylor's release.

Alla fine Taylor è stato rilasciato ieri...Florence e Porter la settimana scorsa.

Una delle prime osservazioni che mi viene da fare guardando "la classifica" è che il primo che si azzarda a bussare alla porta di Belichick per Cassel si merita un fracco di legnate!!!  :lol2:

Considerando poi che ci sono alcuni incentivi particolari dati a Strickland (che l'anno scorso ha contato per il cap $7,800,000 :lol:) che andranno a finire sul sap di quest'anno aumentandone il valore.

A: LTBE stands for Likely To Be Earned. NLTBE stands for Not Likely To Be Earned. These phrases are in reference to incentives, and how these incentives count towards the cap. An incentive is considered LTBE if the specified performance was achieved the previous year. This goes for an individual or a team incentive. Therefore, if the performance was not achieved the previous year, the incentive is considered NLTBE. All LTBE incentives are counted against the cap, while all NLTBE incentives are not counted against the cap.

Q: How do LTBE credits work?
A: LTBE credits can be used to transfer cap room from one year to the next. The CBA states that if the LTBE credits that weren't actually achieved are greater than the NLTBE credits that actually were achieved, the the difference will be added to the next year's salary cap. Even though all LTBE incentives are counted against the cap, not all of them are actually achieved. Since using up cap room for money that ended up not even being paid is unfair, teams can get a credit for the next year. However, if the NLTBE incentives that are earned are greater than the LTBE incentives that are not earned, the team will have its salary cap decreased the following year. So while there is a starting salary cap each year, almost every team ends up having a different salary cap after the incentives are calculated.

Aveva ancora 4 anni di contratto, quindi il signing bonus graverà anche sul cap del 2010.
Per quanto riguarda il 2009, col taglio di Deuce succede che:

The Saints will save more than $4 million in salary-cap space this year now that McAllister is off the roster. His "cap figure" will decrease from $7.3 million to roughly $3 million.

Per adesso dovreste essere ancora 0.7m $ sopra. Seguiranno altri tagli.

In ogni caso , credo che lo spazio di manovra in free agency sara' estremamente ridotto...

Il valore riferito ai Lions (26mil under) è sballato: hanno tagliato Mike Furrey e Leigh Bodden e rifirmato la OG Peterman per 5 anni.
Purtroppo non riesco a trovare cifre utili...l'unica è che Bodden il 1° marzo avrebbe dovuto percepire un roster bonus di 8.6 mil $!!!
Di Peterman per ora si conoscono importo e durata totali del nuovo contratto (15mil per 5 anni) ma non i dettagli anno per anno.

Stavo guardando anch'io quel sito...il problema è che qua dice 26 milioni e "la classifica" dice 26 milioni...solo che la classifica ha dati di 3 settimane fa, e Furrey+Bodden sono stati tagliati più di recente

Se guardi il foglio di calcolo mette sia Furrey che Bodden tra i tagliati...
