So obviously we wouldn't cut this many WR's and go into the season like this. Hurd will be gone for a while, Austin maybe longer than 2 weeks depending on his recovery, and Stanback is back week 1!!!! Great we now have an unproven receiver ready to go for week 1 transferring from QB in College to a must need position for us.
Jerry isn't stupid. Glenn will be back, Romo and him both have chemestry to a point.
Now on the other side look how many DB's we kept. I think Jerry will package a deal to Detroit with the DB's, maybe a LB (Carpenter) and a pick(s).
Come one, Detroit couldn't be that stupid, could they? Roy will be gone next year. He is a #1 type receiver not liking it there, wanting to be in Texas.
Your thoughts?
rifirmato "killer" Davis
The Cowboys have agreed in principle to resign Keith Davis, the former safety/special teams monster who was signed away by Miami just last March. Davis is already in Dallas and the contract is expected to be finalized Monday.
Davis' arrival means that the Cowboys will have to make another decision just hours after finalizing the 53-man roster.
Talk about the weird business of the NFL. Davis was an unrestricted free agent after spending five seasons in Dallas. Bill Parcells liked Davis while the coach was with the Cowboys, so it made since when Parcells lured him to South Beach with a two-year, $3.5 million deal. That was on March 11.
But the Dolphins surprised just about everybody and released Davis before the final preseason game. His agent told the Miami Herald that "it just didn't work out." Maybe Parcells had a change of heart. Or, he realized that you shouldn't pay a special teams guy more than a million when the whole team is bad.
Oh well. Based on some of the coverage problems the Cowboys had in the preseason (and granted things got better as the preseason wore on), I'm sure they'll welcome him back with open arms.

Una regola per tutti, se no ognuno fa quello che vuole. Scusa larry, ma prima si arriva a 100 nell'altro, poi si apre il nuovo. Al massimo si può cambiare la regola concedendo di passare le 100 pagine entro fine stagione, ma cerchiamo di rispettare tradizione. :gazza:

NON credo di essere stato ingiusto!!!!! ma NON mi piace "il due pesi e due misure diverse"!.....discorso per mè chiuso!!!!

Non ne farai più sull'argomento spero, ma non abbandonare il topic. Dopo tutto questo casino per aprirlo, manca solo che te ne vai.. già siamo orfani del go to guy, se vai via anche tu rimarremo senza uomini di esperienza..

Mi pare di essermi già assunto la responsabilità per aver interpretato male la regola in questa occasione e mi pare anche di aver riaperto il tuo topic. Di più non so cosa fare. L'equità non esiste, tanto più se a moderare è un essere umano. Per il resto non posso che rimandarti ai due punti che chiudevano l'altro topic.

Torniamo al football:
Con la firma (la prossima settimana) di Keith Davis, abbiamo raggiunto la cifra di 11 giocatori a roster nelle secondarie, di cui 7 solo CB. Ora, visto che tra infortuni e altro siamo quasi senza WR, che senso ha tagliare un Amendola (comunque ora in practice squad) ora e tenere gente un Ball?
SUl fronte QB, pare niente Simms, mentre il terzo dovrebbe diventare Bollinger. Infine Walden non va in practice squad perchè è entrato nei 53 di Kansas City.
Comunque i roster sono ben lontani da essere quelli definitivi, quindi credo che il reparto CB sarà ben pulito. Con Scandrick, Jenkins, Henry, Newman e Jones, il reparto è già più che apposto.
