Gattini salvi, grande slam di Gonzo. Terribile Manuel che tiene in campo Valdez nonostante la terribile prova dell'altro giorno e la sagra di baserunners concessi oggi.

Joyce and Galarraga to meet again today
The Indians and the Tigers play at 1:05 Eastern today. According to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Tigers are going to have Armando Galarraga deliver the lineup card out to the home plate before umpire before the game.
The wrinkle: because he was the first base umpire last night, Jim Joyce will be the home plate umpire. Ain't that delicious?
My guess and my hope: Galarraga -- who has shown nothing but class since last night's events -- will warmly shake Joyce's hand and do whatever he can to exhibit support for a guy who did the only thing he could and own up to his mistake.
It could be a very special moment.

Gallaraga è da ieri che si dimostra un signore vero. E Joyce ha fatto tutti i mea culpa possibili. Ma è lo stesso Joyce ad aver detto "I am a man"..

Ho visto adesso la consegna dei lineup. Saranno anche incivili, ma questi hanno una mentalità totalmente diversa dalla nostra. Avranno i loro scandali, ma io li amo e non c'è un cavolo da fare. Chapeau comunque per Joyce, il solo ammettere di aver sbagliato è un qualcosa che apprezzo moltissimo. E Gallaraga un signore.
