Fifth-year pro Eddie Moore, a free-agent acquisition, is working with the first team at strongside linebacker. That's the position formerly held by D.J. Williams, who moved to middle linebacker when Al Wilson was released. "D.J. gives me a lot of tips - run fast," said Moore, who knows the system better than other newcomers because he played for Broncos defensive coordinator Jim Bates while with the Miami Dolphins.
che sapete su di lui? ho letto che ha avuto molti infortuni e l'anno scorso non ha mai o quasi mai giocato. se non gioca lui chi potrebbe giocare?

e si torna di nuovo nel mercato dei vetrani. offerto e probabilmente fra poco firmato un contratto annuale a Sam Adams (34 anni e 3 probowl), tagliato il mese scorso dai bengals, per ancorare la rotazione nel mezzo della DL.

The Broncos added more beef to the middle of their defensive line today by acquiring 325-pound tackle Jimmy Kennedy of the St. Louis Rams for a sixth-round pick in the 2008 draft, a source close to the situation said this morning.

da quanto emerge dai primi test "interni" sembra proprio di sì.
buone notizie da Brandon Stokley, sulla via del rientro, cattive per Rod Smith, che non ci sarà neppure al camp di luglio. anche Brandon Marshall si è infortunato, al quadricipite, ma lui ci sarà sicuramente al camp.
non ho trovato aggiornamenti su Tony, sapete qualcosa?

Tony Scheffler (broken foot) admitted Wednesday he may not be ready for the start of training camp.
With Scheffler, Rod Smith, Brandon Marshall, and Brandon Stokley all dealing with injuries, the Broncos receiver depth will be tested. Scheffler's breakout potential has been hurt greatly by Daniel Graham's signing and this foot injury.

prima firma per i nostri rookie. si tratta di Marcus Thomas, DT dall'incredibile potenziale ma che al college non ha tenuto la testa a posto, speriamo possa farlo da noi.
il contratto è un quadriennale, con 428.000$ di signing bonus e una cifra complessiva intorno ai 3 milioni di dollari.
per gli altri (Jarvis, Tim Crowder e Ryan Harris) si è ancora alle fasi preliminari. penso che ragionevolmente saranno firmati entro l'inizio del camp, che parte il 29 luglio, o al massimo entro la prima settimana di agosto.

Broncos backup safety Sam Brandon has been suspended by the NFL for the first two games of the 2007 season for violating the league's conduct policy.

The suspension stems from a domestic violence arrest.

Brandon was arrested in June 2004 and July 2005 on domestic violence charges in Douglas County.

4 anni, con 850.000$ di signing bonus. per i restanti rookie, si spera di firmarli entro l'inizio del camp, ovvero domenica. indicativamente le cifre saranno 5 anni/11-12.5$ mil/6.5$ mil garantiti per Moss e 4 anni/3$ mil/1.5$ mil garantiti.
Shanahan ha detto che potrebbe pensare per Mike Bell ad un ruolo
Marion Barber like, ovviamente su cifre più basse.

Broncos DE Kenard Lang could be available in trade talks.
The Broncos have too many over-30 defensive linemen. Lang doesn't have much left, but has versatility and has played in many systems.
