Si tratta di Edinson Volquez dei Reds. Siccome è sulla 60 days DL, praticamente non sconterà nemmeno un giorno. Non sono d'accordo.

The suspension of Volquez, who is on the 60-day disabled list, will be effective on Wednesday. He can serve the time while on the DL but will lose 50 games worth of pay, which totals around $120,000 of his $445,000 salary for 2010

Esiste nella storia della MLB un giocatore considerato tra i grandi che abbia fondato tutta la sua carriera sul fatto di essere veloce e basta? (ovviamente in rapporto alla media MLB, ovvio che se uno non batte proprio mai e non ferma mai una palla nel guanto per quanto sia veloce rende poco.....)

Lou Brock e Maury Wills sono i primi che mi vengano in mente. Brock è un Hall of Famer (ma era anche molto più forte di Wills, che invece correva e basta).
