Fu nostro OC tra il 2006 e il 2008, prima che SP prendesse in mano la Offense direttamente. Ha una parte quindi nel raggiungimento della prima nostra finale di conference, ma anche delle due successive stagioni senza PO x quanto fu principalmente la D a frenarci. E' un'incognita ma imho farà meglio di Galey

Non ho più parole per descrivere sta merda... Avevamo Lovie, Chip, lo stesso Wisehunt e poi vai a prendere l'HC DI Syracuse che è 25-25 in un college medio e non ha nel running game il suo PlayBook primario..

Boh, ok per Smith, ma Kelly è evidentemente intenzionato ad andare altrove. Whiz, dai, senza Warner a fare il fenomeno ha un record pari pari a quello di Gailey. Di Marrone non so un tubo, ma dicono che ha ribaltato una cultura perdente decennale a Syracuse (check) e che sa come far crescere un QB (check).
Riguardo al running game, secondo me anche Martz sarebbe riuscito ad usare Spiller meglio di Gailey, e nonostante quello ha messo 1200 yards. Non credo che serva per forza un guru del gioco di corsa per farlo rendere, basta non essere dementi...

Anche io, da profano, avrei preferito Smith....
Ma che non sia arrivato Whisenhunt per me è un bene...
Su Marrone non mi esprimo...Billick ha detto che è una gran presa....ma anche Cowher disse lo stesso di Gailey...
Piuttosto vediamo quali collaboratori si porterà....quello mi sembra fondamentale...
Inoltre si parla già di Nassib come potenziale Qb da prendere....
Spero non "butti" la pick 8 per prenderlo...

Non c'entra far correre 1200 yards, c'entra vincere con quel sistema in cui hai giocatori e OL che ti permettono quei numeri.
RIbaltato mi sembra una parola grossa, dato che è 25-25 in 4 anni, ha fatto un gran Bowl, anche se giocava contro WV che non è proprio al miglior anno.
Sicuramente ora potrebbe essere scelto Nassib al 2° giro e magari andare su Te'o o su Allen al 1°

Io avrei preferito un allenatore dall'impronta difensiva, visto il disastro degli ultimi anni e il materiale a disposizione.. Smith mi piaceva e anche lui sembrava interessato, avrei fatto un sondaggio anche per Mike Zimmer o Casey Bradley di Seattle.. ma comunque preferisco Marrone a Whisenhurt, a sto punto tutto dipende dalla scelta del QB, Marrone è un OC predisposto al gioco di passaggio e molto attento alla linea.

Fissata una conferenza stampa per mezzogiorno (18 da noi), dovrebbe essere presentato Marrone, si parla di un contratto di 4 anni.
Rumors danno anche Nix in uscita subito dopo il draft.

Contratto di 4 anni....
Sembra abbia preferito noi rispetto agli altri (Eagles e Browns) per la bontà della nostra OL....
Ha detto che cerca un DC esperto...che non chiamerà i giochi offensivi....e che arriverà il QB che ci darà più possibilità di vincere...
La scelta è da collegare al volere più di Whaley che di Nix....
Nix, come detto da Ston, dovrebbe fare un passo indietro dopo il Draft...
Buddy ha però sottolineato che non siamo in "rebuilding"..
Si parla tanto di Nassib, ma onestamente alla 8 non lo prenderei mai..ripeto quanto scritto tempo fa....
Se alla 8 non ci fosse più Te'o cercherei un trade down...magari ci ricaviamo un 2°-3° giro in più...
QB-LB-WR...teoricamente le prime 3 scelte dovrebbero andare su loro...
