Molto in linea teorica, anche se considerando il non eccelso valore della NFC......... pensa che c'è stato persino un anno (un paio di stagioni fa) in cui Minnesota e St Louis si qualificarono con un 8-8; oggi probabilmente non basterà più perchè comunque il livello si è sensibilmente alzato e per entrare con una wild-card occorrerà almeno un 9-7 o più probabilmente un 10-6.
Partita inguardabile per i Packers completamente annientati dai Patriots, certo non speravo di vincere ma almeno giocare con un po' di intensità e magari riuscire a rendersi pericolosi, invece niente, il nulla assoluto.
Unica consolazione il fatto che almeno questa volta A. Rodgers ha potuto giocare 15 minuti, niente di rilevamente ma almeno ha visto il campo.

finalmente rodgers ha giocato e finalmente capiam perchè non ha mai giocato fino ad adesso. ok si dirà che era la sua prima partita ma lo stesso capitò a favre nel 1992 che entrò quando dan maijokosky (si scrive così????) si infortunò ed era se non la prima la seconda o terza (aveva giocato una o due partita ad atlanta).
il ragazzo forse non sarà male e diventerà (spero per lui) un discreto giocatore ma a questo punto tra i due io prendo favre "tutta la vita".

Aaron Rodgers broke his left foot during Sunday's game against New England and is out for the rest of 2006, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. Rodgers had replaced Favre, who hurt his elbow earlier in the game.
Rodgers will need surgery. He broke his foot scrambling in the third quarter, but played the rest of the game, finishing 4-of-12 for 32 yards....

The Packers contacted quarterbacks J.T. O'Sullivan, Todd Bouman and Bradlee Van Pelt Sunday night, according to an NFL source, and arranged to have them perform in front of coaches and scouts. O'Sullivan, 27, and Bouman, 34, both played for McCarthy in New Orleans - O'Sullivan was also on the Packers roster in 2004 - and Van Pelt, 26, has been in Denver's West Coast offense since being drafted in '04. ... The Packers are expected to make a decision today which quarterback to go with and will begin getting him up to speed on the offense immediately.
MILWAUKEE — Quarterback Todd Bouman signed Tuesday with the Green Bay Packers to replace injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers, according to his representatives.
Steve Caric, vice president of marketing and public relations for Premier Management, confirmed the signing Tuesday. Premier Management is owned by Bouman's agent Gary Uberstine.
Bouman, 34, has nine years of NFL experience, mostly with the Minnesota Vikings. He spent the past three seasons in New Orleans, where Packers coach Mike McCarthy was the offensive coordinator in 2003 and 2004.
Bouman started three games for the Saints last year, completing 68 of 122 passes for 722 yards with two touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Rodgers will miss the rest of the season after breaking his foot during the Packers 35-0 loss to New England at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
