Carlisle Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Deli C, in the 600 block of West Louther Street, just before 7 p.m. The suspects fled the scene north on Cedar Street. Both suspects are black males in their early twenties. #1 is 6 foot tall, 180 pounds, was wearing a white hoodie with colored spots, a black hat and brown Timberland boots. He has a goatee and mustache. #2 is 5 foot 9, 200 pounds, was wearing a black puffy coat with the fur trimmed hood up, and a black bandana over his face. Both were wearing dark baggy jeans. Suspect #2 was armed with a dark colored handgun. Call Carlisle Police at 243-5252 or DPS at 245-1111 if you have any information regarding this crime.

This message is intended to follow up on the crime alert sent to you February 3, 2009.  Early this morning Carlisle Police made an arrest for the homicide of Sheila Kline.  A local man,  Richard “Chip” Hodge was charged and lodged in the Cumberland County Prison.  This was not a random act committed by a stranger.

While we are all thankful the person responsible for this crime has been apprehended, it is important we all remain vigilant about our personal safety and the safety of those in our community. As the weather changes with the coming of Spring, let’s not forget the importance of taking basic safety measures every day, no matter where you are. Don’t walk alone after dark. Keep your doors and windows locked, even if you are inside. Be aware of your surroundings and of crime in your area. Stay informed by reading local newspapers, and report suspicious activity immediately to the police or Public Safety.

Dai che ti e` andata anche bene. Ne riparlimo quando te lo fanno alla  domenica mattina (7:30 am) - dopo essere andato al letto 3 orette prima -  e quando il vigile del fuoco prima, il tuo RA dopo e il direttore poco dopo ti fanno il cazziatone per essere rimasto in stanza .......

A me lo hanno fatto alle 4 del mattino. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima.. tutti in pigiama, congelati, come idioti che aspettavamo l'arrivo dei pompieri.. :lol2:
