Vabbè, dopo le indiscrezioni uscite era giusto procedere così e sicuramente le considerazioni di Multiple sono sensate.
In rete già circolano nomi per l'HC del 2009 ma è prematuro parlarne, non è detto che non si possa ancora recuperare qualcosa in questa stagione. Per la cronaca Singletary è il primo HC afroamericano nella storia dei niners.

Vice president of communications Lisa Lang, who said she does not know if this weekend's game will be blacked out. She said she does not have access to those numbers until Wednesday. Then, the team will have to make a decision on Thursday and report to the league.

A league source said the 49ers are in danger of their first blackout since early in the 1981 season.

Non credo che succederà perché è l'esordio di un nuovo HC ed è una partita "vincibile" però è un bruttissimo segnale.

Io rimango dell'idea che cambiare HC in corsa non sia mai una bella cosa!
Speriamo che questo serva a qualcosa!

Intanto proseguiamo nella costruzione della squadra per il futuro: Heitman, in scadenza il prossimo anno, firma un'estensione fino al 2011.

Heitmann's contract was set to expire at the end of this season.

This poses the question: Why the 49ers would sign Heitmann to a new deal when the team just invested a fourth-round draft pick on center Cody Wallace?

But Heitmann's contract extension does not tie up a bunch of cap room. In 2010 and 2011, it contains $600,000 in per-game bonuses for being on the 45-man game-day roster.

UPDATE: In the above paragraph, it's $600,000 total for two years, meaning it's an additional $18,750 for every game he suits up.

La partita non verra' oscurata: dovrebbe essere comunque un tutto esaurito. Il cambio di allenatore ha funzionato.

Questo e' disarmante secondo me: lo hanno licenziato ora perche' e' uscita la notizia sui giornali, altrimenti lo avrebbero fatto dopo la prossima... che tristezza!

Bah non so se ha senso postare qualche commento sulla partita di domenica comunque è incredibile come riusciamo quasi sempre a rimanere in partita con delle giocate dei singoli e poi ci perdiamo sulle putt@n@te fondamentali. 1) La protezione della palla, 2) le penalità.
Purtroppo ormai è chiaro come JT alterni cose buone a cose catastrofiche e inguardabili sopratutto sulla scelta dei lanci non tanto sulla meccanica.

Sul cambio di HC, non so quanto possa essere produttivo e mi spaventa il fatto che per il prossimo anno ci sia un altro cambio di tipologia di attacco e che QB decenti che saranno free agent non so quanti ce ne saranno.
Abbiamo una gestione della situazione alla ....(quanto mi duole ammetterlo)....Inter di morattidegliannimigliori...
