Incredibile, ma incredibile anche che non ci sia stato nessuno, se non i tifosi, a fargli capire che stava facendo un cagata. Rimango sempre senza parole....
Ieri Oliver è andato per 6 IP ha concesso, vado a memoria, 5 BB. HA creato alemeno 4 possibilità per i D-Backs di chiudere la partita, va sempre, non alto, ma altissimo sul conto.... e diciamocela tutta quando va in battuta ha una stance davvero ridicola!!!!!

Ma soprattutto raramente va oltre il quinto inning dato che, lanciando in parecchi conti profondi, arriva al quarto con gia' 90 lanci.

Aug 1 SS Jose Reyes was supposed to run the bases at the team's complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Thursday, but did not, Minaya said. Reyes has two good days and then one bad day, Minaya said, adding that a bad day is when Reyes feels tightness in his injured right hamstring. Reyes has run in drills and simulations, but needs a further test. "The fact that he's out there running a little bit is encouraging, but we've been in this cycle awhile," Minaya said.
Jul 31 Manager Jerry Manuel said Friday that Reyes (hamstring) had a setback as he was unable to run hard around the bases and there is no timetable for when he will do so.
Recommendation: GM Omar Minaya clarified the situation by saying Reyes had two good days, then one bad day, and, ‘hopefully he will start running the bases again this weekend.’ Reyes felt tightness in the area but hopes to get back on the field Saturday.

Reyes, come postato da Tasco, ha avuto difficoltà nel correre in modo sciolto sulle basi. Ho paura che per lui i tempi siano ancora lunghi anche perchè non danno una scadenza.
Delgado si è rivisto in questi giorni nel dogout. Se tutto va bene dovrebbe rientrare dopo la metà di agosto... se tutto va bene.... :gazza:

Partire con un handicap di 0-6 dopo due innings penso che sia difficile per tutti.
Bullpen quasi perfetto (7.1 IP, 3 H, 2 BB e 4 K), anche per il fatto che dopo le prime due riprese i D-Backs non si sono sforzati più di tanto.
Impressionato positivamente da Redding che con soli 43 lanci resta sul monte per 3.1 innings, concedendo solo 2 valide con due strikeouts.
Siamo riusciti a segnare ben 5 punti ad Haren, (solo Oakland ne aveva segnati cosi tanti contro di lui), però dal settimo inning in poi (quando il risultato era 6-5) non siamo più riusciti a fare nulla, solo una valida di Sheffield.
Chiudo con le solite statistiche di Elias:

quarta BS di K-Rod e andiamo a perdere una partita gia' vinta....quest'anno gira tutto ma davvero tutto storto...eppure Johan aveva lanciato bene e l'attacco aveva fatto il suo dovere...
pazienza, almeno a settembre non avremo di che soffrire...
