EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Pro Bowl defensive end Osi Umenyiora injured his left knee in the second quarter of the New York Giants' preseason game against the New York Jets, but coach Tom Coughlin said that early indications are that he did not suffer ligament damage.

Gran brutta tegola.. in una serata dove il nostro attacco titolare non riesce a segnare nemmeno un punto, e la difesa titolare non sembra riuscire a far di meglio (i titolari hanno giocato tutto il primo tempo), arriva la cigliegina dell'infortunio di un pezzo fondamentalle della scacchiera a disposizione di coach Spagnuolo. Ora aspettiamo i riscontri medici.

The defending Super Bowl champion Giants reportedly will likely have to play this season without one of their best pash rushers.

The Star-Ledger and the NFL Network reported Sunday that Osi Umenyiora suffered serious ligament damage in his left knee Saturday night that will likely sideline him for the rest of the season. The Pro Bowl star defensive end will have surgery, the newspaper reported, rather than try to rehabilitate the injury.

ora ridiamo , con osi fuori tutta la stagione kiwanuka torna DE e il suo posto nel ruolo di LB lo ricopre danny clark
inutile dire che il prossimo anno sarà già un miracolo centrare i playoff
