Packers Reach Agreement To Trade Brett Favre To N.Y. Jets

The Green Bay Packers have reached an agreement to trade quarterback Brett Favre to the New York Jets. Terms of the trade are not available at this time. The two teams agreed to the trade Wednesday night.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson issued a joint statement Wednesday night.  Click here to read the statement.

Murphy, Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy will address the media on Thursday, Aug. 7, at a time to be announced in the morning.

comunque bisognerebbe ringraziare Brett "lunga vita a Mr." Favre per aver allietato la nosta off-season, l' anno scorso con vick, quest' anno con lui, abbiamo avuto di che parlare e leggere :gazza:

Che c'è andato a fare ai Jets poi, non hanno ricevitori giovani da sviluppare e nemmeno un grandissimo attacco, solo qualche buona individualità come Cotchery e Coles... :gazza:


PS. Toglietemi una curiosità, ma adesso come HOF sarà ritirato come Packers o come Jets??

Se non erro sono 5 anni dopo che ti sei ritirato per la HoF, quindi credo che i maliumori (almeno i piu` grossi) se ne andranno e Favre andra` alla HoF come un Packer (che secondo me sembra solo giusto).
