Il contratto di Keisel va benissimo:

Keisel will earn $18.885 million over the next five years, and the deal included a $5 million signing bonus.

:applauso:

Coach Mike Tomlin offered no details -- not even a body part ( :lol2: ) -- simply calling it a "clean-up." He's expected to be out a month, which means more playing time for fullback Carey Davis....da Rotoworld del 26 agosto

Edited on 9/2/09 To reflect the new Brett Keisel contract and the release of Steven Black, Martin Nance, Alex Stepanovich and Derrick Richardson. This puts the Steelers 2009 salary cap total at about $119,793,597.00 or about 7 million dollars under the cap with a plus or minus area of 2 million dollars.

Parker, Mendenhall, Moore, Logan

Ward, Holmes, Sweed, Wallace, McDonald

TE (3)
Miller, Spaeth, Johnson

OL (9)
Starks, Kemoeatu, Hartwig, Essex, Colon, Urbik, Foster, Hills, Legursky

DL (7)

Dale Lolley - Post Carolina Toughts

First things first, I think the police had better get a search warrant for the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora's house. He's been smoking some serious stuff.

LaCanfora is the bozo who reported that people he knows close to the situation have told him the Steelers are considering cutting Pro Bowl nose tackle Casey Hampton.

Let me just say this about that: There's a better chance the Steelers will sign me to play quarterback than there is that they'll cut Hampton.

Steelers make final cuts
Friday, September 04, 2009
By Ed Bouchette and Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Running backs Carey Davis and rookie Isaac Redman, linebacker Bruce Davis and veteran cornerback Anthony Madison were among the players cut today by Coach Mike Tomlin as the Steelers began reducing their roster to the 53-man limit.

Also among the 22 players who were waived is former Penn State center A.Q. Shipley, a Moon High School graduate and one of the team's seventh-round draft choices. Shipely said he was told the Steelers will try to sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Shipley is the one of two draft choices who didn't make the 53-man roster. The other is defensive end Sonny Harris, a seventh-round pick who was also cut.

Carey Davis, who started 11 of the 34 games in which he appeared the past two seasons, was waived injured by the team. He did not play in last night's 21-10 preseason victory in Carolina.

Bruce Davis was a third-round draft choice in 2008 from UCLA, where he had 25 1/2 sacks in his last two years as a defensive end.

Among other cuts were defensive tackle Scott Paxson, who was on the 53-man roster last season.

Carey Davis finalmente a casa.
