Woman found dead in downtown alleyway victim of foul play
CARLISLE – Carlisle Mayor Kirk Wilson issued the following statement:
“Shortly after six o’clock this morning, a sanitation worker discovered the body of a white female hidden behind a dumpster along the first block of Church Avenue, a one lane alleyway downtown.
“Police identified the victim this afternoon. The next of kin, who is out of state, was notified early this evening. The victim is Sheila Anne Kline, 45 years of age, of the 100 block of South West Street in the borough.
“An autopsy was conducted under the direction of Cumberland County Coroner Michael Norris. It has been concluded that Ms. Kline is the victim of a homicide.
“Once the victim was identified, investigators determined that she had been in the downtown area last night and early this morning. Furthermore, she was in at least two licensed liquor establishments: The Gingerbread Man in Church Avenue and Fast Eddie’s in the 100 block of West High Street.
“Police would like to speak with anyone who might have seen Sheila Anne Kline last night or early this morning. Please call the Carlisle Police Department at (717) 243-5252.
“This is an active investigation. The public’s cooperation is requested.”

Winter Conditions
We were greeted this morning with a very challenging winter storm that has created slippery conditions on campus despite a large and concerted effort on the part of the Facilities Management staff to clear away the snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.
The weather forecast predicts a period of rain this afternoon and evening that will continue to present challenges, especially since temperatures will fall below freezing tonight.
Please use caution as you walk and drive on campus! Facilities Management plans to continue addressing the conditions this afternoon and evening, and then to return to campus in the very early hours of the morning to begin applying ice-melt and performing clearing efforts as required.

non ci crederete, ma ho trovato un vero nerd! si chiama Geremy, e quello che fa di lui un vero nerd è il suo trolley rosso, contenente ovviamente un Mac, che si porta appresso ovunque, persino in mensa. a lezione lui non prende appunti, lui scrive sul Mac. i compiti tutti li stampano, lui no, li fa sul Mac e li manda via mail. io ci ho provato, ma il prof ha detto che li voleva stampati :lol2:
