Ricordo un'accesa discussione lo scorso anno sul valore effettivo di Bogut e tutti a dargli contro.
Io sono un suo fiero sostenitore: ottimo centro, grosso, cattivo, ottime mani e difesa assolutamente non malvagia.

beh bogut ha iniziato da cani, e ora è di nuovo rotto....avrà fatto bene 3-4 partite...

A me Bogut piace molto, anche se , oltre che alle straotrdinarie performances di Jennings, l'avvio ottimo dei Bucks è dovuto alla gestione in playmaker di Ridnour, che già in paio di occasioni è andato in doppia cifra di assist.!

Su NBA TV c'è un bel "racconto" riguardo a Redd.... questo è un giocatore che mi ha sempre affascinato per quella meccanica di tiro così spettacolare

se qualcuno lo ha visto ultimamente come giudicate le prove di brandon jennings? i bucks sono in calo dopo un buon avvio, i numeri sono ancora discreti ma non riesco a farmelo piacere e convincere al 100%, lo vedete ancora come favorito al titolo di ROY?

Al momento vedo molto meglio Evans come candidato al ROY, Jennings in calo come un pò tutti i Bucks, probabile calo fisiologico di mmolti rookie, vedremo se davvero è solo questo

Letta ora la notizia e, devo essere sincero, mi stava scendendo una lacrima.
Avevo letto alcune sue interviste dopo il brutto infortunio dell'anno scorso ed ero felicissimo per il suo ritorno in campo... ora nuovamente quell'infortunio tremendo e la carriera che potrebbe finire prematuramente.

Beh non è proprio una rottura dei legamenti quindi non così grave. Poi non se, in questi casi, ricostruiscano interamente il legamento o, semplicemente, lo "rattoppino". Certo è che i tempi di recupero sono sempre lunghi in questi casi ma parlare di carriera finita è un po' prematuro.
Unica cosa, mi sembra che questa situazione sia stata gestita male dallo staff medico dei Bucks. Redd aveva già dato segni di sofferenza allo stesso ginocchio operato nelle partite precedenti. Allora perchè è l'hanno fatto giocare quando non era palesemente pronto!? Insomma, uno può anche parlare di sfiga però io credo poco a queste coincidenze, tant'è che si sono danneggiati gli stessi legamenti infortunati un anno fa. Secondo me, Milwaukee ha avuto fretta di metterlo in campo e questi sono i risultati.

Ma porca pupazza! Mi spiace perchè Redd e i Bucks mi stanno simpatici e anche perchè il buon Michael ce l'ho in un fanta :D

Concordo con quanto scritto da Redo. Ok la sfiga, ma è innegabile che lo staff medico dei Bucks non abbia gestito al meglio la situazione. Nelle partite di Milwaukke che ho visto quest anno, era palese che Redd fosse al 45/50% della condizione.

Beh non è assolutamente detto. Nel primo mese (complice anche un Jennings spiritato è vero) i Bucks senza Redd sono andati benissimo. Non lotteranno per i play off ovvio, ma non faranno cosi schifo.

Bucks guard Michael Redd plans to have surgery on his left knee earlier this time in order to give himself more time to prepare for a comeback.

Redd is out for the season after blowing out his knee on Sunday against the Lakers. He plans on having surgery in February, which would be about a month earlier than he did last season following the same injury.

"We're going to go at it again," said Redd. "This (earlier surgery) will give me a full summer to rehab.

"It's just the pain of going through rehab again and surgery again. That's the frustrating thing about it. It's been a difficult, difficult year but I believe the best is yet to come still.

"I came back this year when a lot of people thought I couldn't and I'm going to try it again. So that's where I'm at. I was shaken and hurt by it and devastated. But as the same time, talking to my wife, she really encouraged me (and said), 'You've got more left in you.' "
