ho vissuto l'ultima stagione in maniera moderata, senza espormi, rimanendo nell'anonimato...aspettando quella scintilla che è solo parzialmente arrivata contro Cleveland.
Il 2011 non ha visto nè il miglior Roethlisberger nè il miglior pandu86...ma non preoccuparti...quest'anno io e Big Ben ci rimettiamo il mantello

Questa l'ha postata D. Lolley qualche giorno fa:
NFL Network is reporting that the Steelers had a trade in place with the Jets to move up and get guard David DeCastro - something I tweeted they should do as DeCastro fell past the 15th pick.
The Jets wanted Quinton Coples or Bruce Irvin and when the Seahawks took Irvin with the 15th selection, the Jets decided to stick with their pick and take Coples rather than risk not getting their man in a trade down with the Steelers.
As luck would have it for the Steelers, they were able to stay where they were at and get DeCastro anyway.
Tells you why the Steelers were so excited about getting DeCastro on draft day and wasted no time getting their pick to the podium.
The Steelers also have the Bengals to thank.
Cincinnati, which needed a guard, passed on the chance to take DeCastro not once, but twice, deciding instead to trade back in the first round and take Kevin Zeitler.
I like Zeitler and think he'll be a solid player for a long time in the NFL. But DeCastro has an opportunity to be special.

Interessanti novità per quanto riguarda la nostra OL.

Willie Colon made it official today: "I've made the transition to left guard. I like it. It's just a matter of learning the verbiage." Colon said Steelers called him right after draft about switch to LG. "My only issue would have been 'don't move me midway through camp.'" Colon at LG, DeCastro at RG will both pull. Colon: "You should expect both of us pulling. I think we're going to be a lot more balanced."

Molto molto interessante. Questo può voler dire che credono (o comunque quella è l'intenzione) che Adams possa essere pronto da subito (considerato che DeCastro lo sarà, senza se e senza ma).

Ora resta da capire cosa vogliono fare con Adams e Gilbert. L'idea era quella di spostare Gilbert a sinistra, ma se Adams potesse prendere da subito quel ruolo sarebbe decisamente meglio in quanto Gilbert si trova meglio sul lato destro.

Una delle fisse di Arians è già stata spazzata via...molto bene.
