Quoto! Ram è album che è stato ingiustamente snobbato dalla critica, ma che poi si rivela come un disco ricco di belle canzoni
come ad esempio  "The Back Seat of My Car" e la stessa  "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey".
Buono anche il lavoro di David Spinozza  alla chitarra. Bel disco

infatti. Non un capolavoro, ma un disco di onesto artigianato pop. Per alcuni fu proprio con questo disco che Macca cominciò a risalire la china dopo lo shock dello scioglimento dei Beatles. "The Back Seat Of My Car" piace moltissimo pure a me, con un arrangiamento orchestrale un pò più sobrio sarebbe stata memorabile.

Piccola curiosità a margine... la copertina di "Ram" fu presa per il culo in modo fenomenale da John Lennon, in pieno stile "liverpudian", sul retro copertina di "Imagine", uscito in quello stesso 1971.

Eh.. già, ricordo la foto di John  :lol2:  ma anche il testo di "How do you sleep?"  era pieno di frecciate rivolte a Paul.
A questo punto mi sembra giusto ascoltare "The Back Seat Of My Car" By Paul McCartney
e vorrei citare un commento che ho letto su youtube a proposito di questa canzone:
"Paul Is Dead. A song like this could only be written from Heaven.....".

Forumisti, mi serve il vostro aiuto.
Cerco un pezzo. Non ne conosco in titolo, neanche l'autore. So solo che è un pezzo di jazz e si sente alla fine di una puntata de I Robinson.
Naturalmente, non conosco neanche il titolo della puntata, ma credo sia della 4 serie.
L'unica cosa che posso descrivervi è la scena: Cliff e Claire sono soli in casa e si godono l'assenza dei figli. Silenzio. Claire è sul divano, Cliff, mette su il disco e, mentre il pezzo parte, ancheggiando va in cucina a prendere un piatto di frutta. Poi, si siede sul divano, comincia a sbucciare la frutta e imbocca la moglie. Con il pezzo in sottofondo. E' un pezzo ripetitivo, poche note di pianoforte.
