The agent for Steve Smith acknowledged Monday that his client is "likely out" for Week 5 against the Bears.
Smith has a high ankle sprain, so it would take a miracle recovery for him to play the week after going down. The Panthers are likely targeting Week 7 -- after their bye -- for Smith to return. Don't drop him in fantasy leagues.

Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett was arrested for driving while impaired, his second such arrest.
The 23-year-old receiver, who has one touchdown in his career here, was stopped by Charlotte Mecklenburg Police early Tuesday morning.
Team officials said they are aware of the situation, but still gathering information at this time.
Jarrett was also arrested for DWI in March 2008.
Since it's his second such arrest, he could be subject to suspension from the league as well.
