Guarda, evita di fare la vittima perché non è il caso, il mio commento non era riferito solo a te ma a tante cose lette in questi giorni in giro per il web, atteggiamenti in cui non mi ritrovo ma che sono molti diffusi. Mi convinco sempre più che sono io quello "sbagliato" e quindi preferisco stare zitto e passare avanti, però a finire per quello che impedisce agli altri di esprimere le proprie opinioni o a trattarli con sufficienza o in maniera polemica non ci penso neanche per un cazzo, anche perché ho spesso speso tempo a descrivere in maniera quanto più esplicativa il mio pensiero o a rispondere in maniera completa nelle discussioni di questo forum o altri.

DOmenica ha giocato male, ma sul boldato io non sono cosi' sicuro: quanti dei passaggi alti o sotterrati sono stati sbagliati e quanti lanciati cosi' perche' nessuno era aperto? NOn conosco la risposta perche' dovrei rivedere i filmati e dovrei capirne di football, ma l'impressione che ho avuto in diretta era che i nostri WR e TE non riuscissero a trovare spazi (non sempre ovvio, ma spesso).

This was not Alex Smith’s fault. Was not. The Giants defense didn’t have to worry much about the 49ers’ WRs–CB Corey Webster erased Crabtree, essentially–so they could focus on other things.
Vernon Davis hit them twice despite bracket coverage, which is a tribute to Davis’ speed and ability, but that was about it in the passing game, except for one big gainer on a short pass to Frank Gore.

Noi tifosi dei Niners sappiamo di non avere un super QB, sappiamo che non ha ripagato una scelta Nr1 al draft , ma forse lui ha pagato più di niners essere stato scelto da SF, 7 OC in 7 anni , allenatori allo sbaraglio , un infortunio alla spalla molto pesante , e sopratutto una girandola di WR tra il mediocre ed il passabile.
Vorrei vedere Aron Rodgers con i nostri WR , o il ragionere di Foxboro .

Special-teams coordinator Brad Seely, whose 49ers units played a pivotal role in the team's remarkable season, is reportedly scheduled to interview Wednesday for the Indianapolis Colts head-coaching position.
Seely, 55, began his NFL career with the Colts from 1989 to '93, coaching special teams and tight ends during that time. Seely spent 10 seasons with the New England Patriots, and was a part of three Super Bowl titles.
Seely's candidacy was first reported by FOXSports.com. He is among a lengthy list of reported candidates for the job that includes former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, Baltimore defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano, former Minnesota coach Brad Childress, New Orleans offensive line coach Aaron Kromer and Tennessee defensive coordinator Jerry Gray.
The 49ers excelled on special teams during the regular season. Kicker David Akers set an NFL record with 44 field goals and most points (156) with no touchdowns. Punter Andy Lee set an NFL record for net punting average in a season at 44.0. Long-snapper will also represent the 49ers at the Pro Bowl this week in Hawaii.

It’s very easy to blame Kyle Williams for the 49ers NFC Championship defeat. Certainly, without his punt return mistakes, San Francisco had a legitimate chance to advance to Super Bowl 46.
It could be argued that the 49ers played their brand of football against the Giants. They ran the ball 28 times for 150 yards, including 2 runs by Alex Smith out of the read option. Smith threw 26 passes, completing 12 for 196 yards and 2 beautiful touchdowns to Vernon Davis. He did not throw an interception. That’s the kind of offensive balance and efficiency the 49ers have preached, and executed, all season.
No miscues by Williams deep in San Francisco territory, and 49ers football reigns. I imagine the faithful see it that way. For those who do, the discussion is over. Nothing more needs to be said or evaluated.
It’s never that simple. As always, a careful study of the coaching tape revealed much more. The NFC Championship should not have been as close as it was. I wrote last week that Smith was the difference against the Saints in the Divisional Playoff, a game in which he was outstanding, especially in critical moments. Unfortunately for the 49ers, against the Giants, Smith was also the difference.
Let’s start with the first 3rd down of the game. It was 3rd and 4; the 49ers had already gotten 1 first down. Michael Crabtree ran a sail route (kind of a flattened corner route). He was wide open. Smith, with no pressure in the pocket, did not pull the trigger. It was a throw that had to be made. The result of the play was an incompletion on a late check down to Frank Gore.
The first play of the 49ers fourth offensive possession was also telling. It was a shot play, a called big play off Smith boot action. Williams ran a deep post off a stutter move. The double move froze Corey Webster, and Williams raced by him. The design of the play worked. Smith overthrew Williams by 5 yards. A good throw, and it was a touchdown. An adequate throw, and it was still a 50 yard gain. This was another missed opportunity.
But the first play of the second half was perhaps the most indicative of Smith’s performance. You come out of halftime with a specific plan. The 49ers went to one of their staples, the wheel route. A shot play right out of the gate. Delanie Walker, from his line of scrimmage tight end position, ran by a slipping Webster. The concept worked to perfection. Walker screamed down the sideline. Smith again did not pull the trigger from a clean pocket. He ended up getting sacked for a 7 yard loss.
These are just a few examples of Smith’s tentative and uncertain pocket play last Sunday. The bottom line was this: Smith was reluctant to let it loose on routes and throws that were not only well designed, but were open. They were primary reads. No progressions were involved.
One of the attributes that separates high level quarterback play in big games and critical moments is the willingness to make stick throws into smaller windows. Smith did that with confidence against the Saints. In the NFC Championship game, he was hesitant and cautious on throws that were clearly defined. Simply put, Smith left a lot of plays on the field against the Giants. While Williams publicly shouldered the burden of defeat, it was his quarterback who failed to deliver on the promise he had shown a week earlier.
Da quel poco che ne capisco io di football non sono stato in grado di capire quanti degli incompleti, dei passaggi sotterrati e dei sack subiti fossero colpa di Smith e quanti dei WR che non erano aperti. Sicuramente i WR hanno fatto una pessima gara (Kawamamwemreririmi o come si chiama sosteneva ieri in un suo post che non erano mai mai mai riusciti a liberarsi), ma anche Smith ha sicuramente mancato diverse opportunita' (quella su Williams l'avevo vista anche io...). Contro i Saints negli ultimi minuti ha dimostrato di saper lanciare anche quando la finestra e' piccola, contro i Giants forse e' ritornato il "pavido" che abbiamo visto durante i suoi primi anni di carriera e spesso anche quest'anno.
Speriamo che JH sappia lavorare su di lui per fargli avere continuita' in questo

Sul fatto se in quelle occasioni il ricevitore libero, a quanto dice Cosell, era quello che costituiva la prima opzione io non lo so perché non conosco il playbook dei niners e non dispongo della telecamera "All22" (lui invece mi sa che è uno dei pochi a poterne disporre).
Stiamo parlando quindi di 3 lanci in una partita, in cui tra l'altro solo uno poteva portare ad un grosso guadagno ed un TD. Mi verrebbe da ricordare i 2 mancati intercetti della nostra difesa su lanci chiaramente sbagliati che hanno solo avuto la fortuna di trovare non 1 ma 2 difensori niners sulla palla.
