Ti ricordi quando quest'estate ti avevo chiesto cosa ne pensassi perchè era stato tagliato a Oakland e non mi sarebbe dispiaciuta l'idea di firmarlo? Alla fine sono stato accontentato.. solo che nel frattempo è stato tagliato appena messo piede a Washington, tipo dopo mezzo allenamento, e nessuno lo ha più voluto, quindi il biglietto da visita non è che sia proprio ottimo.azazel wrote: Schweigert è una sciagura.
A me non dispiaceva l'idea perchè, per quel poco che l'avevo visto, mi sembrava veloce, più abile sui passaggi che sulle corse, dove ricordo era anche un pochino in difficoltà. Poi boh.. tanto, peggiorare il reparto safety non potrà, siamo già al minimo possibile.. magari qualche snap di situazione invece che buttato come titolare e ci combina qualcosina di buono. Chissà..
E che era arrivato in NFL con ben altre aspettative.. Gli altri invece chi sono? Ma soprattutto, sono a roster? No, lo chiedo perchè il roster era pieno così come la practice squad. Quindi è stato mandato via qualcuno?

The club looked at a few safeties, including Stuart Schweigert, a third-round pick of the Raiders in 2004, and Jerome Carter, a fourth-round pick of the Rams in 2005. The Cowboys also worked out defensive backs Curome Cox and Michael Hawkins, who is from nearby Carrollton and has had two stints with the Cowboys-owned arena team, Dallas Desperados.
The Cowboys also took a look at a pair of linebackers, including five-year veteran Victor Hobson, a regular starter with the Jets a few years back, and David McMillan.
