Ma porca puttana, che cosa abbiamo tenuto Flozell?? E dargli quelle cifre quando avrà 500 anni?! O che è in programma di tagliarlo tra un po', ma comunque avremmo una panalty da scontare sul tetto.
Discorso ricevitori: anch'io tengo Hurd tra lui e Crayton. Patrick prende i suoi soldini garantiti, e mai come ora scambiarlo anche per niente ci tornerebbe utile per firmare anche i rookie. Hurd ha mani morbide e non ha paura di ricevere nel traffico, e questo è un buon punto di partenza. Età e contratto sono gli altri due motivi per cui lo preferisco. anche se al momento Crayton dà più sicurezza (partita di playoffs a parte).
Riguardo Stanback, anch'io spero di vederlo in campo spesso, ma allora bisognerebbe scegliere chi tenere tra lui e Austin, perchè mi sembrano un po' troppo simili come gioco. Se tornasse Glenn, avremmo lui, TO, hurd, stamback, witten e un wr che verrà fuori dai primi 2 giri. 6 opzioni mi sembrano più che sufficienti, anche contanto che stanback sarebbe più un giocatore da situazione.
ma mettiamocela via che Fitzgerald non arriverà (che peccato..) mancano spazio nel cap e pedine di scambio, e nemmeno DMAC. Ma il nodo del RB si dovrebbe risolvere nel draft, e come cornerback se non scende Mckelvin, comunque potrebbe esserci ancora Cromartie.

This is an alternative approach on a plan for the Cowboys. What if the Cowboys traded both #1's in SEPARATE deals.
Consider the type players you get in trades. Old guys. A guy that has played his way from fringe status to very good and wants a big pay day. Knuckleheads. Teams with depth at a position. Players that don't fit a new system being installed.
WR, DB and RB are the main positions the Cowboys need. Draft choices many times need a year to work in to the lineup; especially small ones.
Knucklehead factor. Later #1 for Deangelo Hall. Hall is a cocky knucklehead. Arrogant is the right word for him. He's not a criminal mind you, but he is arrogant. He would take a #1 draft pick if they want to move him. He's 24 years old and has spent four years in the NFL. He's the youngest player ever to intercept a pass in the NFL. He is a lock-on cover CB and has good skills. He is 5'10" 200 so he's not a whippet. He is a knucklehead but Hall would become the best CB on this team; no offense to Terrence Newman. Hall is dangerous in the open field and an outstanding punt returner. If you could secure him with a late first and you may could, you would have a lock down CB on one side and and a very good one on the other with Henry as the nickel. You have to determine two things. Is he worth the trouble and can you get him for a late first. He is younger now than Newman was when we drafted him.
The other #1, the higher one and maybe something else to the Lions for Roy Williams; perhaps a fourth. A young established star in this league. Williams is approaching the last year of his contract and they are deep at WR. They need draft picks to rebuild.
Williams is ready to step in and be your 1a WR and Hall is ready to step in and be your #1 DB. With Henry then at nickel you have a very formidable defensive backfield. Hall and Williams are Pro Bowl players right now. I would never trade draft picks like this unless you are in the situation like Dallas who has every right to think they are a SB contender.
Then you could maybe pick up a player like Derrick Ward in FA. Ray Rice or Kevin Smith should also be around with the second round pick.

Magari! ma come per tutti i rumors che hanno riguardato i wr che avrebbero dovuto arrivare, e che puntualmente non sono arrivati, non sono per nulla fiducioso che arrivino e anzi, da quello che ho letto fino ad oggi nei forum americani, pare proprio il contrario. Mentre per quanto riguarda Hall.. sarebbe una grande acquisizione! E relegare Henry come nickel cb lo renderebbe ancora più produttivo. Però lui lo accetterà? è pur sempre reduce da un pro-bowl..

Il mio CB preferito rimane Cromartie, e poi preferirei Jones a Rice, così metteremmo apposto anche i ritorni..

Ma che fine ha fatto Aza? è uno dei padroni di casa, ma è sparito. Voi che frequentate da più tempo di me sapete se lui non si interessa di off-season o è rimasto traumatizzato per la seconda post season disastrosa? Così viene a mancare il go to guy del topic..

Si è giocato tutti i soldi in una mano di poker in cui aveva un poker d'assi.....l'altro aveva una scala Reale.
Ora si dice che stia vagando per il territorio ascolano raccogliendo olive da rivendere al mercato clandestino di olive ascolane.

alvin...per prima cosa, non dare credito alle parole del "barese dentro", d' altronde è anche un niners, quindi sai già da te che da questi loschi figuri è sempre meglio diffidare. ultimamente riesco a seguire meno il forum (il lavoro non è mai un buon motivo, prima o poi appendo il muletto al chiodo....ho resistito anche un mese, direi tanto, no?! :gazza: ), e più in generale ho poche cose da dire, la free agency mi ha lasciato abbastanza deluso, sinceramente, ora staremo a vedere sto draft, anche se io eviterei felix jones (uno che decide di passare tra i pro e saltare la stagione in cui sarebbe stato il go to guy di una squadra come arkansas che fa produrre sempre ottime cifre ai RB...mmmm mi lascia perplesso), andrei molto volentieri su chris johnson con una delle nostre prime 3 scelte (sono rimasto folgorato dal suo bowl)
ps. ah dimenticavo il barese di cui sopra si sbaglia anche in un' altra cosa, io le mani a poker le vinco. non le perdo.
pps. pacman jones sarebbe un ottimo acquisto, imho. se ne sa qualcosa di più?

Just a thought here. Hall's mentor was Deion, they keep in touch alot, deion thinks very highly of him, so there could be a possibility that deion sanders talks JJ into getting D hall. #28 #22 Bobby carpenter since Demario williams left they need to fill a linebacker spot and carpenter can be a star in a 4-3 defense (possibly) Marcus Spears will also be better off in a 4-3 and atl has no dt's, For #3 and D hall and maybe a 2nd day pick. Trading for hall in a blockbuster has been mentioned before but i have a feeling that this could go down. As much as you guys hate to hear it but JJ is obsessed with d mac and what jerry wants is what jerry gets. I also feel Primtime can talk d hall into taking less money and sign a long term deal with the cowboys if it happens. Alot of you have hall to be this player who is cocky which is true and say hes a overrated corner which is as far off as you can get. I mean you put newman with milloy crocker and houston and a terrible pass rush and you would never hear newman as a top corner and you all know its true you need talent and hes got nothing. He would not be a distraction believe me and stop going on about how much he gets burned just because he got torched against chad johnson in a pre season game. And t.o and hall would be fine together. Remeber after the spitting incident i belive on nfl gameday or it might have during the week after deion sanders said he got hall and owens to talk and everything was cool, so before you guys rant on about his bad issues i just wanted to clear those up. And please dont go on about cap this cap that. I dont think any of you realize what re constructon contracts and cutting players how much it saves. Plus jerry feels uncapped year is coming so he could backload the contract. Now dont hate on me and say here we go again, its just a thought. Bobby and Spears stink and need to go, we get a future corner and a nice 1-2 punch at rb for years to come hopefully. Do not be shocked if this goes down, you think theres not chance of it happening but w/e deal involved d mac believe me d hall will be included.

According to RotoTimes sources, Pacman Jones and the Cowboys have agreed to terms on a deal that would allow the talented defensive back/special teamer to play in Dallas this season. The Titans gave Jones and his agent permission to seek a trade, but at this point there are no definitive or confirmed terms to report. While Jones and the Cowboys may have agreed to compensation between the two parties, Jerry Jones and Tennessee have to reach an agreement as well. Stay tuned.
