da quello che ho capito è una notizia inventata quella di Bedard a Seattle...mah!!!

inventata forse non del tutto. Sembra che Jones abbia fatto capire alla stampa che sarebbe stato ceduto a Baltrimore quindi la cosa è venuta da sè.
Poi che anche il sito di mlb.com abbia fatto credere che la cosa era ormai fatta quello è effettivamente strano.
cmq su mlbtraderumors la cosa è tirata ancora per le lunghe. Secondo me qualcosa di vero c'è.

La mia paura?
Santana ai Mets. Adesso che la trade si è conclusa tutte le sqadre che erano interessate al giocatore ex-twins si butteranno su Bedard (NYY commpresi). Le possibilità che vada a Seattle a questo punto si affievoliscono con questo tipo di concorrenza.
Bavasi ha promesso un top pitcher per la rotazione e non vorrei facesse la stessa offerta fatta a Baltimore per Bedard ad un altro lanciatore di livello inferiore. A questo punto perdiamo dei prospetti che io avrei sacrificato SOLO per Bedard.....
Speriamo non accada, ma Bavasi ha fatto talmente tante Cag*@e che non mi stpirei più di tanto.

Angelos non cederà mai il suo miglior giocatore per 2 squadre della stessa division di Baltimore (Boston, NYY) probabilmente non sottovaluterei un ritorno prepotente dei Dodgers. O addirittura la ri-firma di Bedard con Baltimore.

Forse non tutto è perduto...

Larry Stone of the Seattle Times gives his take on the Erik Bedard situation.  The money quote:

All current indications are that, after all the histrionics of the past week, the Mariners and Orioles will really, truly, actually, once and for all, no turning back, no mulligans, no backing out, no passing go, get this trade done. But check back tomorrow, because nothing is for certain in this messed-up deal.

Stone also adds that Adam Jones was not in Baltimore for a physical on Friday, contrary to other reports.  He also gives some details about the three tall pitchers rumored to be part of the deal - Chris Tillman, Kam Mickolio, and Tony Butler.
