Abita nello stato di NY o nella citta di NY?

Io ho casa nello stato di NY, verso upstate (anche se abito molto di piu` a NC). Purtroppo con mio suocero che sta lottando (e perdendo) contro il cancro sono a NY da un bel po quest`anno.

Sono andato a scuola nel basso NY (verso il Bronx). Quindi lo stato lo conosco bene.

Va a Giants Stadium? Io ci ho giocato tre volte in quello stadio, tante volte visto le partite (che noia uscire con il traffico).

credo che fosse a casa a NY quando è successo il 9/11 perche quando ho visto su internet tutto il disastro avevo cercato di chiamarla

The second part of Greta Van Susteren's interview with Brett Favre aired tonight, and I was able to view the video.

As I reported in today's Journal Sentinel, and based on a transcript I obtained of the entire interview, Favre told Van Susteren of three separate incidents in which he had differences with General Manager Ted Thompson. The three are the Packers' failure to sign wide receiver Randy Moss, the failure to sign linemen Mike Wahle and Marco Rivera, and Favre's inability to convince Thompson to give Steve Mariucci an interview after Mike Sherman was let go as head coach.

Those comments were not part of the interview that was shown on Fox News Channel tonight. But they were part of the transcript I reviewed.

Granted, the Van Susteren interview was lengthy, perhaps 40 minutes. And Fox is certainly not obligated to run the entire interview. The network's Web site reported at one point tonight that the entire transcript would be posted online, perhaps as early as Wednesday morning.

While there may be legitimate reasons to edit out Favre's comments about the three incidents, it does speak directly to his relationship with Thompson.

Here's what Favre said about those three incidents.

"And none of those had anything to do with me retiring once again but, you know, it's hard for me to trust, you know, this guy when I - either I'm told one thing and everyone else is told another, or he's telling the public one thing and telling me another. And so - and that's part of the reason for the release," Favre said of his request to be released by the Packers to pursue other opportunities. "Not only was I told that playing here was not an option, we're moving on - it's kind of in their company line, moving on. That's OK."

The incident involving Mariucci is particularly telling. Here's what Favre said, based on the transcript:

"So, the next year Mike Sherman is let go, and - I said, 'Ted, will you do me a favor and -- Steve Mariucci had been released probably four weeks previous with a few games left in the season.  A close friend of mine, everyone knows that.  And he and I talked occasionally and I said, 'Hey, how is it?'  He said, 'I have to admit, I get time to spend with my kids, I've got four kids, and I miss it, but' - a lot of small talk.

"And so when our season is over and we don't have a coach, I said, 'Ted, will you do me a favor, would you interview Steve Mariucci?'  Not would you sign him, or I'm not coming back, or anything else.  I said, 'Would you interview him?  And his exact words to me were, 'Well, from what I understand he doesn't want to coach again right now.' And I said, 'That's true, but I talked to him two days ago, a day ago, whatever.' And I said, 'Would you be interested in coaching Green Bay?' He's from Iron
Mountain, Michigan, hour and a half north. And he said, 'That's always been a dream, sure I would.'

"So I tell Ted that. And he says, 'OK.' So I go home and I'm down here and the next thing I know Mike McCarthy is hired as head coach, which - so what? He may do a fine job. Whatever, no problem. I thought, that's a little odd. So I called Steve. I said, 'How did the interview go?' 'What interview?' He said there was no interview.  I said, 'Did Ted talk to you? He said, 'Yes.' He said a couple of days after McCarthy was hired he called me and just wanted to know if everything was OK, how are you doing, and all that stuff. And I thought, OK.'

I tried to reach Mariucci today, but an NFL Network spokesman said Mariucci didn't want to comment.

Ma neanche il china o matteo che li segue con enorme attenzione non davano per scontato il suo ripensamento, anzi. Non so come si fanno le citazioni dei post di tanto tempo fa, però se vai a pagina 27 di questo topic, e ti leggi cosa dicevamo il 9 maggio..

Si scherza, ma Gman ultimamente è uno che ci prende. Poi a parlarne oggi tutto cambia ovviamente, ma mai e poi mai avrei pensato di vivere questo casino Favre.

anche io pensavo o meglio speravo foosero solo voci...invece e' successo veramente. in america a differenza che in italia i rumors hanno sempre un fondo di verita'.

Ah scusa, avevo capito male io. Di g-man non sapevo, credevo che lui parlasse di te. Perchè mi ricordavo che ne avevamo parlato io, te e matteo due mesetti fa, e nessuno credeva a questa possibilità di rientro (oddio, io un po' ci credevo perchè ero rimasto a quando e metà stagione aveva detto che avrebbe continuato ed era convintissimo). Comunque ora negli Usa, quando giro per siti, ho notato che è impossibile non trovare un articoletto sulla faccenda. Da loro sta avendo un impatto mediatico impressionante

guarda sabato girvao per los angeles con una t shirt dei packers e con piu di una persona ho scambiato fugaci scambi di opinioni. sportcenter ogni giorno ha un aggiornamento sulla faccenda e praticamente tutti sanno cosa sta accadendo

Già solo perchè sei a Los Angeles, la mia invidia è smisurata!!! Comunque ci credo sì che tanti ti abbiano fermato, non solo sui siti sportivi, ma addirittura nei blog di Cleveland che ho bazzicato per raccogliere impressioni utili per il book, c'era più gente che parlava della questione di Favre che del loro training camp..

Ma secondo voi, è più sfigata la moglie di favre o aaron rodgers?
E che deve avere di male quella donna perchè il marito preferisca a 92 anni ritornare a giocare piuttosto che godere della sua compagnia? Le puzzeranno i piedi?  :gazza: :gazza:
