8.08 If two teams which have the same number of points, the same number of goals scored and conceded play their last group match against each other and are still equal at the end of that match, the ranking of the two teams in question is determined by kicks from the penalty mark (Article 16), provided no other teams within the group have the same number of points on completion of all group matches. Should more than two teams have the same number of points, the criteria listed under paragraph 8.07 apply.
Il criterio 8.08 è clamoroso e potrebbe portare a calci di rigore nell'ultima giornata dei gruppi. Non ne ero al corrente!
Diciamo che vincono Germania ed Olanda, in quel caso Olanda, Portogallo e Danimarca pari a 3 punti. La Danimarca ha 3 gol fatti e 3 subiti (contro Portogallo ed Olanda). L'Olanda è 0-1, il Portogallo 3-2, per ora.
L'Olanda se vince con 2 gol di scarto, passa aritmeticamente. Se invece vince con 1 solo gol di scarto, è eliminata aritmeticamente, perché a parità di differenza reti conterebbe 8.07c ed il Portogallo avrà sempre più gol fatti dell'Olanda nella mini-classifica avulsa.
Toh, il calcolo è più semplice di quello che pensavo
Allora, facciamo i criteri. Se vince la Germania, passano i tedeschi come primi, mentre come secondi passano:
- Gli olandesi se vincono con almeno 2 gol di scarto.
- I danesi se l'Olanda vince 1-0 e la Danimarca perde con 1 solo gol di scarto realizzando almeno 1 gol (quindi 2-1, 3-2, ecc) per la regola 8.07e.
- Il Portogallo altrimenti.
Se la Germania pareggia:
- Passa la Danimarca se l'Olanda vince.
- Il Portogallo altrimenti.
Se la Germania perde ed il Portogallo non vince, passano Danimarca come prima e Germania come seconda.
Se vincono Danimarca e Portogallo, la Germania è fuori e l'ordine dipende dai risultati:
- Se la Danimarca vince realizzando almeno 2 gol, passano Danimarca prima e Portogallo secondo.
- Portogallo primo e Danimarca seconda altrimenti.
Interessante che in caso di doppia sconfitta olandese e tedesca se ne vadano entrambe a casa.
Una cosa che non ho capito: se la regola d esclude una delle 3 squadre, si torna ad applicare da a o si va comunque ad e? Boh, comunque a grandi linee è giusto quello che ho detto.
