stamattina ho visto solo fino al primo tempo e poi son andato a dormire che dovevo andare al lavoro...ho passato tutta la giornata con la convinzione che avessimo perso...partita tiratissima...onore ai Browns che hanno disputato una prestazione equilibrata in entrambi i reparti rendendocela veramente difficile

Ecco arrivare anche le prime brutte notizie della stagione, KDKA riporta infatti che Keisel dovrà star fuori per 2 mesi.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―  KDKA-TV Sports has learned that Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel is expected to be out for the next two months.

Keisel injured his calf in Sunday night's game against Cleveland.

He suffered the injury in the first half of the game and did not return.

Non dovrebbe comunque essere un infortunio devastante come quello dell'anno scorso con Smith, Nick Eason dovrebbe prendere il posto da starter.

Qualche curiosa nota statistica dopo due partite.

Roethlisberger's 136.3 passer rating leads the NFL. He has three touchdowns, no interceptions and a 75.8 completion rate. ... Roethlisberger has not thrown an interception in his past five regular-season games, the longest stretch of his career (although he did toss three in the playoff loss to Jacksonville Jan. 5). He has 10 touchdown passes in those five games. ... The Steelers have four interceptions after two games, two by safety Troy Polamalu. They managed only 11 interceptions all last season, none by Polamalu.

Ieri Ben s'è allenato regolarmente...il problema l'ha provocato Mario Williams ed i colpi presi a Cleveland - incluso il late hit di Rogers non sanzionato  :roll: - non lo hanno aggravato; si può dire, anzi, che Kal-el guarisce prendendo mazzate 
A proposito: dando un'occhiata ai tre sack messi a segno dai Clowns...solo quello di Rogers è imputabile alla linea; gli altri due sono tutti suoi :dallaprima: 

Pola nominato Defensive Player of the Week.

Townsend giocherà...a parte Keisel di cui ormai sappiamo tutti, l'unico che dovrebbe saltare gli Eagles è Donovan Woods.

Non so chi ha visto gli Eagles lunedì...McNabb, Westbrook e DeSean in gran forma; saranno anche incazzati per aver perso di poco in casa dei futuri Campioni del Mondo...riassumendo, non è il momento migliore per affrontare l'altra squadra della Pennsylvania  :gazza:

James Farrior multato - 7500 $ - per aver mostrato il medio ai tifosi Clowns che festeggiavano un infortunio - poi rivelatosi leggero - a Ryan Clark. Per lo stesso gesto il capitano s'era già beccato una penalità che poteva costare cara.

   

beh 7500 dollari(su un ingaggio megamilionario) per togliersi una soddisfazione simile si possono anche sacrificare.

The Elias Sports Bureau, which handles statistics for the National Football League, has taken away a sack against Roethlisberger in the Steelers' 10-6 victory in Cleveland after reviewing video of the play.
The play occurred with 10:51 left in the second quarter when Roethlisberger was sacked by Browns nose tackle Shaun Smith -- one of three sacks originally credited to Cleveland. Elias changed the call, saying Roethlisberger was actually attempting a pass, hit one of his linemen in the back with the ball and caught the deflection before being tackled by Smith for a 7-yard loss.
So, instead of his statistics being 12 of 19 for 186 yards with a 113.0 passer rating against the Browns, Roethlisberger is officially credited with being 13 of 20 for 179 yards and a 110.2 passer rating.
