Un po' di notizie sparse sulla parte "grafica" dell'MLB (che a me piace tanto)
Ci sono rumor sempre più forti che fanno pensare ad un ritorno al vecchio logo anni '90 per i Blue Jays.

Questa la versione più accreditata, per ora.


Si parla anche di un rinnovamento delle divise.

Io sono un po' combattuto sul rinnovamento jersey e loghi.
Le squadre ''storiche'' secondo me dovrebbero toccare il meno possibile la loro storia (scusate la ripetizione) e a quelle più recenti dovrebbero vietare alcuni scempi (ho visto alcune robe, anche nel football e nel basket, anni '80-'90 che facevano rabbrividire).

A me mancano troppo le divise sgargianti dell'NBA di fine anni '80-anni '90
C'è stato un periodo, soprattutto agli inizi dello scorso decennio, nel quale le varie casacche erano tutte molto anonime e senza personalità. A questo punto mi prendo quelle un po' sopra le righe del periodo precedente. Ma siamo OT

Nel frattempo, aggiungo che i Mets presenteranno anche un logo speciale per i 50 anni di storia della franchigia.
E leggo proprio adesso che le divise dei Jays saranno presentate Venerdì prossimo
Quelle dei Marlins si preannunciano uno scempio. E' uscita poco fa una foto un po' sgranata ma inequivocabile.



Intendiamoci: non mi dispiace rinfrescare le divise o anche cambiarle, ma i colori vanno mantenuti. Capisco la volontà di tagliare i ponti col passato (giusta? sbagliata?), ma qui si stravolge completamente l'identità della franchigia. A me ancora non è andato giù il cambio totale che fece Arizona qualche anno fa, figuratevi.

Add that up and you get 72 intra-division games, 60 more intra-league games and 30 interleague games a year -- up from the current 15 to 18 interleague games a year.
