faccio fatica a interpretare questo passo:

Manager Terry Francona said he hoped the injury taught the rookie a valuable lesson about communication with the staff about injuries and the need to play when you’re not physically at 100 percent.
“I’m not pointing a finger at Ellsbury because I think he’s a pretty tough kid,” Francona said. “I guess my point is you’re not always going to be 100 percent. I don’t know if we can wait for guys always to be 100 percent or we won’t ever be able to field a team.”

ne deduco che Ellsbury non ha informato prontamente lo staff del risentimento che aveva e la cosa è andata peggiorando, invece si fosse fermato subito avrebbe perso meno giorni?  mi suona come una bella ramanzina da parte di Tito o sbaglio?
"every game here is a big deal"  anche quando li manda a put.... con le sue scelte si guarda allo specchio e se lo ripete?
