la bravura dei contabili però si riduce a questo, ovvero non tagliare un giocatore di costa meno.

questo invece è quanto avrebbero, considerando anche uno dei più alti dead money (più di 8 milioni).

sono curioso di vedere le cifre di Albertone, ma questi hanno fatto dei numeri assurdi. anche se c'è da ricordare che ad un certo punto anche Parmalat e Cirio sono scoppiate :gazza:

Però se vai su Crazy Canuck, nelle note c'è scritto:
2. Release Fees - lists each player's cap hit, followed by his "release fee" in that given year. The release fee represents the amount of dead money that would be incurred by releasing/trading the player prior to the year in question (before June 1st).
E se poi vai nella tabella Release Fees alla voce Jason Taylor c'è salario 2009 - 8,500 $ / Release FEE - 0, nada
E allora, come funziona?

The player rep for free agent Albert Haynesworth denies a report that his client has a contract in place with the Redskins.
The agent has to say this. No talks are allowed until the Feb. 27 free agent period (even though everyone does it). "He doesn’t have a deal with another team," said agent Chad Speck. "We continue to keep the lines of communication open with Tennessee. The rumors...are completely false." 30 teams phoned Speck about the Houson Chronicle's report, indicating that speculation Haynesworth's market will be weaker than expected is incorrect.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that All-Pro NT Shaun Rogers has grown so "disenchanted" with the new Browns regime that he's asked the team to not exercise his $6 million March option bonus.
The Browns deny Rogers demanded his release, but failing to pick up the bonus would make him a free agent. It would also cause Cleveland a $9.8 million cap hit. Eric Mangini has reportedly reached out to Rogers in hopes of changing his mind. The coach did the same in New York with Laveranues Coles, but clearly the Mangini-Kokonis era has gotten off to a rotten start.

Era prevedibile, Mangini l'aveva combinata il mese scorso. Se i Browns perdono Rogers, Mangini è il più grande idiota sulla faccia della terra. Sicuramente più di quanto lo sia adesso.
