Plaxico Burress predicts the Giants will win Super Bowl XLII 23-17.
Co-owner Steve Tisch already guaranteed a Giants win, and Michael Strahan said Monday that "history will be ours." Rodney Harrison implied that the Patriots played their worst game of the season in their 38-35 Week 17 win over New York, so there's been plenty of trash talking on both sides.
Plaxico Burress says his ankle is currently at "97 percent."
He was asked repeatedly Tuesday about his prediction that the Giants will win Super Bowl XLII 23-17. Tom Coughlin conducted his interview adjacent to Plax, and shook his head in displeasure when told of the "guarantee."

SCOTTSDALE -- This morning's media access was highlighted by QB Tom Brady touching on the prediction/guarantee made by Giants WR Plaxico Burress.

Informed that Burress liked the Giants, 23-17, Brady was disappointed in the score.

"We're only going to score 17 points?" Brady said with a smile. "Does Plaxico play defense? I wish he said 45-42, or something like that."

Brady was having fun with the topic of conversation, according to Boston Globe sports editor Joe Sullivan, who was on the scene.

Brady was wearing white Nike sneakers with low-cut socks, and his injured ankle did not look swollen or discolored in the area that was visible.

Ragazzi...a me ste due settimane non mi stanno passando proprio un cazzo e togliamoci sto dente perchè non sto più nella pelle. Pronostico di arrivare un tantino agitato a Domenica notte..non so se riuscirò a godermi Tom Petty & The Heartbreackers :gazza:

All'ultimo che ha garantito una vittoria contro i Patriots non è andata benissimo

Non ha mica detto che non arriveranno, ha detto che arriveranno quando saranno indispensabili. Per aver conquistato la Nfc ho vinto due cremini, pensa se si vince il Super Bowl...
