Se vuole andare via i Bengals devono mandarlo via per il bene del Team.

Hous così potrà fare la prima donna... e prendere tutti i soldi che chiede... certo Johnson non è proprio uno stinco di santo per lo spogliatoio (almeno lui non si fa arrestare un giorno si e uno no...), però chiedete a SF dopo che è andato via TO cosa è successo... a Phila stanno ancora cercando uno per sostituirlo, lo stesso vale per Moss a Minnesota (Berrian per me non vale la metà di Moss e johnson).
Sono giocatori che dividono lo spogliatoio, però senza si fa fatica a stare...

OK, io non credo siano tutti santi e non metto in dubbio l'amicizia tra i due, ma senza Chad, Hous avrebbe più potere contrattuale e che non ci abbia pensato non ci credo tanto... senza Chad, con Henry tagliato... Palmer dovrebbe passarle tutte a lui e probabilmente la sua carriera ne gioverebbe.
Credo che giocare con un amico sia sempre la cosa migliore, per questo mi stupisco che Hous dica di lasciare che vada... sarebbe stato meglio che avesse detto di chiedergli perchè se ne vuole andare e di trovare una maniera per farlo rimanere.

Rumors su Ocho Psycho appena pubblicati da pro football talk. Si parla di una consistente offerta dei Redskins rifiutata dai Bengals, che sarebbero apparentemente decisi a tenersi in ogni caso il giocatore.

The Cincinnati Bengals have consistently made it known, publicly and privately, that they will not trade receiver Chad Johnson.

But, nevertheless, an effort has been made to trade for him.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Washington Redskins offered a first-round pick in 2008 and another draft pick in 2009 for the disgruntled wideout, who has made his desire to get out of Cincinnati abundantly clear over the past few months.

The 2009 pick actually could escalate to a first-rounder, based on Johnson’s performance in 2008.

Mort points out that it’s not the first time that the Redskins have approached the Bengals, but it’s the ”first significant proposal.”

Here’s our take on all of this — the Bengals should be very concerned about the possibility of tampering.  The Redskins have enjoyed over the years a very strong relationship with Drew Rosenhaus, Johnson’s agent.  And it is believed by some league observers that Chad’s campaign to be traded arose not from his zeal to wear a new uniform but from his desire to stuff more money into his pockets.

Thus, if the Redskins were willing to make such a strong and specific offer for Johnson, it’s hard not to think that they have an idea as to the contract extension that Johnson (via Rosenhaus) would accept.

And that, of course, would be tampering.

Coach Marvin Lewis confirmed that Pollack is "headed to retirement." A 2005 first-round pick, Pollack fractured his C6 vertebrae two years ago. The Georgia alum wound up playing in 17 games with 29 tackles and four sacks.

Mi era piaciuto tanto il ragazzo e quel Draft del 2005 aveva portato a Cincinnati sia Pollack che Thurman ed erano due giovani straordinari rovinati poi uno da un infortunio,l'altro dalle proprie scelte di vita.

mi accodo al rammarico, mi era piaciuto per quel poco che aveva giocato, certo che tra thurman e pollack, i bengals avevano sistemato il loro futuro in quella posizione di campo, se le cose fossero andate come dovevano andare....
