Bengals sign Odom

Cincinnati reached agreement with former Tennessee defensive end Antwan Odom on a five-year, $29.5 million deal, including $11.5 guaranteed. --Adam Schefter

Odom recorded eight sacks in his first season as a starter for the Titans and will replace departed defensive end Justin Smith. Odom will stop opposite left end Robert Geathers, and will keep the Bengals in the 4-3 defense. The Bengals have made the defensive line a priority, but failed in attempts to acquire Shaun Rogers and Dwayne Robertson.

Il TE Ben Utecht è ufficialmente dei Bengals. I Colts non hanno rilanciato, quindi Cincinnati si trova ora un giocatore in grado di dare un upgrade ad una posizione da sempre carente. 31 ricezioni per 364 yds ed 1 TD l’anno scorso per Utecht.

Chris Henry strikes back again...and again...and again

CINCINNATI -- A Cincinnati Bengals player who has frustrated his team with past traffic violations was back in court last week.





Wide receiver Chris Henry was ticketed for driving with expired Kentucky license plates. He appeared in Hamilton County Municipal Court and paid $149, according to court records.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended the 24-year-old for the first half of last season for repeatedly violating the league's conduct policy. Henry was arrested four times during a 14-month span.

After his last arrest, he pleaded guilty to letting minors drink alcohol in a hotel room he had rented. He served two days in jail.

The Bengals, who issued a statement expressing frustration with Henry when he was in traffic court a year ago for driving with a suspended license, were not aware of the latest ticket, a spokesman said.

A message for Henry's agent, Marvin Frazier, was not immediately returned Tuesday.

Henry non ha finito...

As his former West Virginia University teammate Pacman Jones tries to get back into the NFL, Bengals receiver Chris Henry might be trying to get out.

According to media reports, Henry has been charged with assault.  He allegedly was involved in a fight on Monday, and he faces counts of assault and criminal damaging.

An 18-year-old claims that Henry smashed his car windshield and punched him in the face.  Henry says that it wasn’t him.

Si è già concluso.
Il Presidente Mike Brown ha comunicato il taglio di Henry dicendo che "la sua condotta non è più tollerata e che ha perso la possibilità di continuare la sua carriera con i bengals".
Per Henry si parla di 1 altro anno di sospensione...
Era bravo bravo bravo, ma una testa di cazzo di livello COSMICO. In tutti questi anni di sospensioni non ha mai capito un cazzo da ste sospensioni, tanto lo stipendo a fine mese gli arrivava sempre.
Io ho paura che anche Pacman Jones sia simile ad Henry, era questo che intendevo nel dire "non si sa neanche se lo utilizzeranno" nell'altro topic mvp!
