Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers are not actively shopping OG Justin Smiley as trade bait, but they are willing to listen to offers for him. Smiley is entering the final year of his contract with the team.

Heitmann (frattura alla gamba), Delanie Walker, Jonas Jennings e Justin SmileyDerek Smith (operati alla spalla) e Ronnie Fields (frattura al braccio) si stanno tutti allenando regolarmente.

Buone notizie anche per Derek Smith, operato ad un muscolo dell'occhio. Copntrariamente a quanto annunciato subito dopo l'operazione, potrebbe essere capace di partecipare ad esercizi con contatto gia' dal prossimo mese.

Quanto invidio quest'uomo.
